it's not like the silver hand was any better, they actually wanted the people of stratholme to become undeads before slaughtering them, not killing them before they would transform (an action wich I imagine would be quite painful and horrifying)...imho Arthas, even though he was beginning to get mad there, was doing the more humane thing in that WC3 map...

so burning down a small chapel and killing 4 newb pallys is a quite small "crime" if you compare them...

Uther and the other Silver Hands would not have wanted to let them become undead if they had any say. They'd have rather found an alternative, instead of simply letting them die or killing them to prevent them from becoming undead.

Why not...it's what blizzard does?

anyway, I doubt they'd have time...Mal'ganis started to turn them into undead before you could raze the first house if I don't remember wrongly...
