Taunt overlooked?

Obviously by click I mean "press the tilde key" but most people just look at you funny if you type ~

lol i have it bound with clique to mouse 4 and wait for a red square to pop up on grid...i call it taunt-a-mole.

I have RD setup with clique too. While AoE tanking it's almost never your current target that gets peeled off. Like you said, i just click the said raid member with the red aggro dot on grid. Saves me changing targets just to press the damn RD macro and using /targetlasttarget and other stuff.

15sec taunt is an acceptable weakness IMO, but the unreliability is annoying. If you target RD on a mob it should taunt that mob regardless of any other status, and then taunt 2 more mobs off whatever it happens to be targeting. Actually I'd be happy if it acted as a single-target taunt if you target a mob.

I agree, it should work like Warrior/Druid taunt for the mob you are targeting.

I wish it would just bloody work all the time...when things are changing target constantly, latency gives you a big fat DENIED.

That easy mode trash before M'uru with the annoying Sartura style priestess adds made me cry when my taunt failed every freaking time. I told the warriors to tank them in the end and I avoidance gear tank the painbringers...

My wish is that I want it to work like this:

I taunt the mob that random warlock who has overaggroed, tant debuff gets applied DIRECTLY to the mob (like warrior/druid taunt) and then the taunt mechanic targets the warlock, and taunt 2 things off him which are not the target I taunted.

I don't know how hard that is to implement but I think it is a simple solution if it can be changed easily. If it sounds good someone post it in the suggestion forum or something because for some reason my browser doesn't work properly there. I have been thinking this since day 1 but never bothered to post it, but I thought since they are overhauling, what the hell...

Really the most inconsistent and annoying thing is that it is not off the gcd, like warrior Taunt, Growl, Death Grip, etc.

Seems like that should be fixed, though I admit it's a minor issue.

It's a little more important now that judgement is on the GCD.

I do the same thing except I don't have it Clique-bound, I hit the button and then click. Somehow I mentally associate Clique and healing spells...
