AP helping Consecrate now?

Just curious as I saw this over at MMO champions for the latest build;

Consecrates the land beneath the Paladin, doing [ 32% of AP + 940.16 ] Holy damage over 8 sec to enemies who enter the area.
1475 Mana, Instant cast, 8 sec cooldown

Also does it still gain anything from spell damage?

Wow, thanks for the quick reply and the great news.

Giving your post a bump for justice here since page 7 about pally weapons is a bit on the obscure side (I hope you dont mind)

Consecration now scales equally with SpellPower and Attack Power.

Slow 1 handed DPS weapon is the new black.

Consecration, Holy Wrath, and Exorcism all now scale equally with AP and SP.
