Yeah it regens constantly now. The reason it starts slow because your mp5 while casting is lower than out.

how fast does it speed up? How does it affect all the "30% mana regen while casting" type talents that are out there?

Yeah, it's really strange to see.

I also think some of the scaling has been changed. I think before the patch my SoR was hitting in the 350 range, and now it's in the 550 range, we may have to get research the new forumlas.

Also, several mobs "Deflected" my HotR. I don't remember seeing that before.

Wasn't deflect a ranged parry/dodge before they changed it so your couldn't dodge/parry at range? I don't remember, I just remember deflections being in at some point, I'll have to dig around and look.

I recall seeing "Deflect" once or twice before.

Deflect is currently a little understood and little used mechanic, the only place it has been seen in game is when a player is being attacked by an NPC that is using an ability that would give players the drunk effect, or crocodiles in Uldaman. Another location is the trash before the Shade of Akama encounter in Black Temple. A deflect negates all the effects of these attacks if it occurs. It is not known what the chance is to deflect nor if it requires any type of weapon or offhand equipped.

Also, I noticed that Divine Protection was added to the description for the Divine Guardian talent. Given the changes to Divine Protection, this talent looks like it was meant for Holy Pallys.

Also, consecrate is definitely getting bonus damage from AP. Tooltips update now, so just by casting blessing of might on yourself, you can see in the tooltip that consecrate does more damage with more AP.

well, it's not like the entire raid won't know that our judgements give that debuff...I'm sure I will tell them to be sure to not overwrite it...

I thought most abilities were being modified by both AP&SP??

According to Tybalt, only 2 of our tanking spells are only affected by AP.

only HS left on +spellpower it seems...anyone know if that has been added to ap scaling aswell?

If you go to www.wotlk.wowhead.com it displays the formulas for all spells with AP and SP coefficients. At least, from what I've seen. Holy Shield doesn't appear to scale with AP.
