Mana Back from Divine Guardian while ot'ing?

Basically you take 30% or the raid's dmg but since your bubbled your immune? So if I'm OT'ing could i use this then click off bubble for more mana or would i get insta gibbed?

your melee is taking heavy damage around the boss, you run in (not the MT at that moment) and get close enough to pop your shield, you take no damage from the boss but you take 30% of the damage from everyone around you. think of it as an AoE blessing of sacrifice while personally being shielded from mobs.

i would asume it only works when your shield is up, but you still would take the damage so you could technically use it like that as an OT every 4 minutes

Well you wouldn't be bubbled any more, so the damage wouldn't be redirected to you, so no. I also don't think it's actually been confirmed that the Paladin actually takes damage in the bubble--and it really wouldn't have been my first assumption on reading the talent. It would completely change the function of a bubble, rather than just adding to it.

It's a health funnel type spell.

Makes sense to me, and yes, that'd make it a good OT talent as long as there wasn't enough raid damage flying around to instagib you.

So if i used this on High Warlord Naj'entus right b4 we pop his bubble id prolly get insta gibbed.. hmm. 30% of raid dmg means you'd have to be pretty careful when you used this.

This is exactly why I didn't expect pallies to be immune to it in the first place, the potential damage absorbed would be hugely powerful. On the other hand, it may need to be reduced to a 10 yard radius or restricted to your party only to be usable in lots of 25 man raiding. A lot depends of how much raid damage is a part of encounter design (i.e. are all future raids going to be like Sunwell?)

At the moment you don't take damage from BoSacrifice while bubbled, so I assume the same applies to this.

I don't think the talent was designed for absorbing an entire raid's worth of damage. Rather, I think it's for fights like Gruul, VR, and Bloodboil, to take some damage off the MT while giving you an extra injection of mana to keep your threat up. Note that on BB almost all your casters should be >30 yards away from you, so DG should work as intended even on a fight like that that involves raid-wide damage.
