it says 'your melee strikes will refresh this spells duration', but i've been beating down on some mobs (notably ones you 'shouldnt' be able to solo, like fel reaver) that my judgement frequently just runs out randomly, even my combat log states that i've been melee hitting the bastard thing...

happened on nightbane tonight when i had to take over tanking, the JoW i had up just ticked down into nothingness

i've had this happen

best guess for how it happens is that you either stop meleeing and resume, or detarget the mob and resume
better to tank in hell than DPS in heaven

Probably the Dev in charge of warriors got hold of the nerf bat and took a swing at paladins ;)

I've always thought it was because of the debuff limit and people using too many less worthy debuffs as I've only ever had this happen in raids, but if somebody has evidence to the contrary, I could ofc be wrong.

Something like that happend to me while aetanking.
I judged wisdom on one target and after that light
on another. JoW would not be refreshed, JoL was
doing just fine.. but that was some patches ago
and i haven't tested it since then.

It's refreshed on YOUR melee attacks on THAT target only.
You can keep JoL and JoW on two targets, but you can only refresh the one you're attacking.

The thing is, i did switch the targets and i was attacking (read: hitting
with my weapon) both of the mobs i jugded on. But only one of my
judgements was refreshing.

Maybe i'm reading into the tooltip incorrectly but it states...

"Only one judgement per Paladin can be ACTIVE at any one time."

Meaning you can judge 2, but only one can be refreshed with melee attacks. Then again, I could be horribly off. Just a thought.

"3" times?

Only 3?

How slow is your weapon?

Shouldn't be more like a good hundred or so?

20 seconds, say a 1.8 speed weapon, max 11 attacks.

Dodges, parries, misses... 3 is reasonable.

Ok, makes sense in that context, but I just read 3 times while tanking the critter, and didn't infer the 20 second part on my own. 8)

There was a libram that caused judgements to not be refreshed (though I thought it had been fixed long ago), it could also be that another pally overwrote your judgement, and then only that pally could refresh it.

This is what I am assuming happened on Nightbane. No idea on the reaver if you were doing it solo.

As to the multiple judgements on different mobs (JOL on one, JOW on another), wasnt there just another post about how this isnt possible due to how the spell functions?
