Re: Post your Frustrations.
Just discovered collegehumor...lost about an hour and a half of my life yet I feel it was worth it. Now to crack on with chemistry homework and revising for my psychology mock exam on Thursday that if I don't pass I get kicked out of the class
But I'm so tired and want to sleep.

I can't get the Portal song out of my head. Not even "Stairway To Heaven" or "Only in Kenya" can dislodge it.

No. It is a terror weapon used by my son on his parents. I may just have to write a filk and exorcise it that way.

Re: Post your Frustrations.
So, last week I started work again after three months without a job. This means, though, that I can't raid on week nights any more - as I'm playing 8 hours removed from my server, our usual raids atart well after midnight on my local time, and I just can't do that when I have to be up for work in the morning.
Back when I ws at my previous job, I'd just started running with this guild, we were in Naxx and then Ulduar, and the leader moved raids to Friday/Saturday so that I could attend. When I finished, she put them back onto weeknights, which wasn't really a problem.
This time, the raid leader (also one of our best healers) has a job that means she's only free on a couple specific nights a week - at the moment, Wed/Thurs, so she puts raids up on those nights. It's looking like this will continue for Icecrown, which means I will miss out on the raid.
On top of this, about a week before I got my job an old player returned from a long hiatus - a pally tank, in mostly Naxx-25 gear because of how long he'd been gone. This is someone I'd heard talk of before, usually the raid leader saying how great he was. So now, in his old T7 and a few Conquest pieces, he's the one tanking ToC, and it looks like they're going to take him into Icecrown.
I wouldn't really mind if I had a chance of getting in myself and sharing the runs with other tanks, but that just doesn't seem likely - my server is really, really bad for PuGs, and our guild alts and second raid group just aren't anywhere near the level of gear or experience the main group. I could try to organise my own runs with these, but from experience I know I'll get less consistent attendance and a lot less progress than the main group gets.
I'm thinking that unless something happens I'm gonna be left out of Icecrown entirely.
Edit: Dear lord, he has Slayer of the Lifeless with +63 Spellpower...

Re: Post your Frustrations.
So I just found out last night that I got gkicked. This is the guild I fucking transferred 2 servers for. What did I get kicked for you may be asking yourself?? Well, apparently I pissed my GM off by being one of the only people in the guild will to stand up to one of his brother's RL friends who was constantly pissing people off and degrading them in G chat. What's even greater is the fact that I did so in a nice way. No cussing or anything of the sort. I logged on last night to find all my toons...read 6 or 7 toons all deguilded. I was angry for all of a couple minutes. But i did hear that they are officially re organizing into a 10 man casual guild. God, so much drama over nothing.
Thinking of starting WOW again....

Some of my guild's alts (mine included) collaborate with another guild on our server to do ToC 25, ToGC 25 and Ulduar if we're missing some key people.
Tonight we were doing hearbreaker, and this was one of our wipes...

I died early on due to a gravity bomb going off during a tantrum that was too close to the melee. QQ at being the only death. Also I heard afterwords that 2 ranged and 1 melee were missing flasks, every bit counts! lol
On the bright side, I got the fist weapon off FL+4 so that was amazing

Re: Post your Frustrations.
The patch is today.
Guild was going to allow alts into ToC runs, and I was really hoping to get a chance to flex my mage muscles in a real raid, and get a feel for how it really works.
Oh well, no deciding I want to main change anyway....

And a patch with a gated instance only allowing you to kill 3-4 bosses changes this how?

Because there is no chance at getting alts into ToC in a full run now. That was only a plan 'in case' we didn't have new content. We raid 3 nights, 3 hours a night. We will probably get 2 locks of ICC and 2 locks of Weekly Raid Boss.

Shoju: We'll probably need alts to finish filling out those second locks consistently. That's how I got my mage into ToC. The tank was locked, and they still needed someone. Voila! Mage picked up three pieces no one wanted.
