I'm one of those people that bitched about the pvp part of the cloak quest. I have 3 alts all at that step and they aren't going any further. I don't like pvp. I'm not good at pvp. Why on earth would I join a battleground and crap up a team of people that assumedly want to be there?

Fair is fair is fair though. For a long time, pvpers had to do lots of pve to get some of their best in slot gear. Now hopefully we can consider it even and I hope they can keep the two seperate in expansions to come, at least as far as giant quest chains go.

Someone must be pouring crazy into the water supply of the US and Canada... I think there's been a big profile shooter scare just about every other day in the US and Canada alone.

India's rapes are accidental.

Or the fault of chow mein.

...the head of a village council pointed to chowmein which he claimed led to hormone imbalances among men.

Accidentally? I thought in all the civilized world it was common opinion that it's women's fault if they get raped. That's what they tell us in Italy at least!

Maybe that's what India is getting at. If Indian women weren't wearing Western style short skirts, then the man's penis wouldn't accidentally be inside of her...

Yeah, I got nothing. Best part was hearing my roommate sputter about the chow mein portion when I was howling with laughter (note: this isn't a funny topic, but some of the "doling out the blame" parts...)

Blizzard has been giving me pepper for having outdated video drivers, so I figured I'd go ahead and update them. I download the correct drivers, but then get a message saying it cannot find any compatible hardware. I then do a scan for hardware & relevant updates from Nvidia's pages, which then tells me that my product manufacturer requires me to get drivers through them. So I go to Dell/Alienware's video drivers, and lo and behold: Their "latest" video drivers are from Q1 of 2011.

Dell wrote:I see you have concerns around the Dell system video drivers, which you feel are outdated. You may surely go ahead and update the drivers from Intel & NVidia.

Go to Dell is starting to sound like Go to Hell.

Haven't had any graphical issues, and am buying a new computer in August sometime, so at this point I think I'll just ignore the prompt from Blizzard and forget about it.

Pet peeve: Armoury character image not updating to reflect my new transmogs.
Bonus pet peeve: I miss being able to adjust character pose in armoury.

Vanity. <3

My washer dryer - which came with the flat when I bought it 18 months ago - has been wearing out lately, so I ordered a new one. Took the day off work yesterday to receive the delivery - and it turned out the one they delivered was damaged. Looks like it had been dropped on one corner. So I have to take another half-day tomorrow for them to deliver a replacement. Bah. (Luckily the delivery slot this time is early, so I can go into work for the afternoon.)

"Sometimes it's right," said Indian state minister, referring to rape.

I don't even know where to start with that.
