Ahahahaha, Shoju, I found out when I was last in Ohio (7 or 8 years ago?) that I really shouldn't go back. Granted, my nieces there all live in very small town (in Kenton), and it took all my willpower to not show absolute amazement that their idea of succeeding in life is, apparently, popping out spawn.

(Pretty sure that my own idea of working, travelling, being educated was just as bizarre to them.)

Also, Davis, you know where to find me! (Playing Sims 3 these days to finish a couple of Dynasty challenges.)

Test of Valor... Thats whats making the legendary chain a stupid drag right now. Grinding rep to exalted, ok I can live with that. But basicly i`m dancing in place now for 3 weeks to get the stupid valor points just because I got my current active character to 90 about 3 days before they found out there was an isle just about the coast of the Jade Forest :(

If it makes you feel any better... I'm currently working on Sigils (quit playing before I completed that part)... I think I'm at 4 Wisdom/5 Power...and don't feel like waiting 3 hrs to run the old LFRs.

I got that part done quickly actually (after I figured I could go work on the legendary questline). Been through all of the first tier once and got the last 2 sigils I needed in SoO, so that shouldn't be to hard to get if you finish the waiting game for the LFR que :p

I cleared like 4 sections of LFR this past week (whichever raid has Durumu.) Need 496 ilvl (currently at 493) to be eligible for the next ones.

The Blazing Chest on the Timeless Isle contains an item (burden of eternity) with which you can turn one of the BoA tokens into an item level 535 item. If you haven't done that yet, that will put you over the 496 requirement.

Banthalos.

Luckily I flied back where he spawns and he was there... well I guess noone ever passes by anyway. Would have been much more disastrous if it was Skoll, Loque, Karoma or Arcturis.

I managed to get a 502 chest off LFR Lei Shen which when combined with the Shadow Pan Assault trinket (replaced Dragonling) and a valor headpiece (replaced 463 blue), it got me over the hump.

Still working on sigils, but if I can find the time to run LFR, hopefully I can finish that up before the reset this week.

the lesser of two evils -- not a broken water line, but most likely a broken water heater... and the walls sucked up the water, causing the whole walls are moist, paint is bubbling up, et al.

still looking at a big bill regardless

What about homeowner's insurance? Our water heater broke a couple years ago, in December, and I believe it was about 1800-2000 for repairs (insurance covered most); and that includes the replacement heater and running fans in the garage and pantry to dry out the walls for like 3 or 4 days.

you know what? i dunno, i believe my insurance deductible is either 1 grand or 1%, which is pretty much the same -- right now i'm looking at 600 dollars or less in parts and labor.
