A night of wiping on Durumu, although I should not complain as it's the first night of just wiping such since ToT came out (first raid we've extended).

It was fun solo tanking, but a lot of responsibility - one mistake by me (force of will, messing up by bubbles, disconnects etc) and it was a wipe. Quite a fun fight, but very unforgiving.

Phone died. Phone had my Blizz Authenticator. I wanted to play Diablo, damn it! Now I have to wait on support to release my account from the authenticator's chains. :(

You can't call your key chain when you've misplaced it. ;)
Support got me sorted out real quick though. Blizzard support is best Blizzard division!

Only one frustration at present -> my affliction 'lock alt is a weak-ass punk. I DPS like a pacifist with a feather duster. Slightly higher ilvl than my mage, DK and shadow priest alts, but much, much worse DPS.

'Locks are broken is my only excuse. I'm ignoring all evidence that I just suck at 'locks.

Don't play affliction, right now unless you got UVLS it's not competitive.
Expecially in 5 men where stuff dies before dots tick off.

Try Destru man, it's great fun.

I'll speak up in favor of Demonology, it's a blast. Nothing says OP fun like going into a 5 man boss fight with a thousand demonic fury saved up. With that and decent gear, pop imps/demon form/dark soul/terrorguard and whatever you're killing just falls over in fright.

Ennui. Just effing ennui - job's a (comfortable and decentmy paid) dead end, I'm mildly annoyed with a few people in the new guild, which seriously gimps the fun I take out of raiding and the game in general.

Thank the gods I've got the wife and kid.

I think I'm starting to notice a trend.

Those on this board that change guilds often, on their quest to do raiding and a high level, seem to easily get annoyed quickly in the new guild. I know Worldie had that, I remember someone else had the same.

Those that have been at that level for the longest dont seem to have that problem, because they've been in that guild for the longest and already got used to whichever quirks their people have. Or realize that it comes with the territory.

:)

On an actual frustration, I couldnt see the perseids for jack shit this year... >.<

Makes sense - it probably just comes at a point in my life where most things pale compared to the little guy.

Altough the "it comes with the territory" comment got me thinking - i don't honestly believe asshat leadership is a given at high levels. I'm guessing that it requires a very specific skillset, and that many, MANY fall short of the mark and become warped versions of a good leader.

For how weird it might seemb, some people do like blunt and meany raid leaders.

I used to like it back on Sylvanas.

I'd agree with that, another thing to think about is asshat leaders will tend to have more raiders quitting, meaning there's a higher chance of those searching for new guilds coming across ahole rl's.
