Mine likes to crash right after I get out of a LFR for some reason. I'll zone out and then hit a flightpath or something and kaboom.

How about doing Tech Support for your wife, while she is at your mother in laws, and can't get her computer to connect to the wifi, while you are sitting at work, trying to get work done?

Frustrating run I got into last night.

The top horde guild on server (2nd server 13/13H) "hosted" a ToT normal 25-man taking PuGs. Signed up with my shaman (we didn't have enough to run in-guild this week, again *sigh*).

3 hours, got through Primordious. Only two wipes, so that wasn't bad.

Frustration #1) I got no loot. Only one thing even dropped that I was interested in (the spell fist-weapon from council) but I didn't win the roll. The rest of it was all cloth, plate, or cloaks. (My god, the number of cloaks that dropped...) Used 3 coins, all were fails.

Frustration #2) We only got to Primordious. They took WAY too much time explaining mechanics on some fights (esp considering point 3, below).

Frustration #3) Holy crap, 25-man is easy. All of us running 10-man are doing it wrong. The only fight that seemed harder on 25s was Ji-Kun (and that's where we wiped twice). Otherwise it seemed like having so many raid CDs just trivialized everything. Health bars didn't even move during Lightning Storm or Rampage. Everyone was instantly topped after Quake Stomp. The worst example was that people simply weren't moving out of the green bombs on Maegara, and it didn't even matter - just tranq back up after each one! Lost a couple people to getting one-shotted by rockfalls and Force of Will and stuff. Didn't matter. On top of that, you get way more (and better) loot. I'd imagine that Animus is tough on 25s, but that'd be about it I think.

(And no, they didn't have completely ridiculous DPS to make up for it either - there were a bunch of PuGs and the hosting guild were all taking alts).

Frustration #4) They had 26 people in the raid (which is ok I guess if one person stays outside the instance or something), but that messed with my UI something awful. :(

Oh well. At least I didn't make a fool of myself. Was 2nd or 3rd on healing for most fights (except Primordious - was dead last there for some reason probably related to Healing Rain being useless on that fight *laugh*). Only mechanic I screwed up was getting knocked off the bridge on Horridon trash.
... the fact that more potential voters are swayed by a few trivial comments 10 years ago than a candidate literally collapsing is not a good sign and tends to indicate that even if Trump wins, it won't matter.

No electorate that stupid is going to survive long, one way or another.

Try 25 hc where every boss ability becomes "use 1-2 raid cds or wipe" and tell me of how easy and fun having so many cooldowns is ;) :P

It was made in EXCEL.

In a way that half the wording and such were off on the right hand side of it and it included some typos too.

They are being paid 700 euros a month,I get 300.
Had to rebuild in Word to make it look printable and valid.

If you don't value computer security leaving steam logged into a computer and using the Steam mobile app it allows you to install games that way.

I do value computer secuity, and I'm away from home for a while, so I leave my computer unplugged AND I use my steam account on multiple computers (this one just doesn't seem to have the power to even run Civ V)

But thanks for the head up (I found the steam app last night by myself, not sure why I thought to look - psychic link to MT?)

Yes, definately, except, I dare not guide my mother through a SR over the phone 8she has the annoying "mother" habit of doing 4 or 5 things hen I tell her to do one "Go to the files menu (word 2010)" She closes word and then says she doesn't have a "save as" option (because she opened a file and did nothing in it) - just as an example.

And the continous "You don't need to tell me how it works, becaause I just need you to tell me how to X" where if she actually heard how it works, I would not have to explain X (or come over and do it) 3 or 4 times a month.

Yeah, when I move out I'm getting the remote desktop client working on all of my parent's computers and laptops. Then I can tell them to just watch and not touch anything.

Oooh, that's an idea... though I'm not sure if it'lll work, the internet in our area (my mother too) has common (and dynamic) IP no. towards the outside, so I'm not sure if I can connect remotely.

There are services like go2mypc and logmein that can solve the dynamic IP problem by having a client on your mom's computer updating their network with her IP address, so when you use their network to connect, they know her IP address. I think that they also work on port 80, so you don't have to worry about ISP/Firewall configs.

From what I've seen so far we don't have any ISP Firewalll worries (at least I''ve not encountered any problems that wasn't from my own router or firewall).

I think I'lll have to look at that when I get home and have an opportunity to actually play with them :)

Sometimes I don't understand why often people get mad at me if I go sarcasting on people who do stupid errors (like standing in obvious bad stuff), and consider me an Elitist for demanding a bit of common sense.

I should really stop joining trade pugs and give up on alt runs.

Need new comics to read, but dont want anything that is mainstream DC or Marvel.

Waiting for new issues of MTMTE is worse than a crack addiction...

Picked up the first issues of manhattan projects, didnt like it. Do like The Wake but its only two issues in. Wondering about Jupiters Legacy...
