It's just frustrating. You don't like somethign? Fine. Return it. Not a problem. I even went above and beyond and waved our normal policy of "no returns on items that aren't defective or not as described" But, to want me to LOSE money on this because you don't like it?

Do people expect to buy something from Best Buy, take it home, realize they don't like it, return it, and then ask for their gas money back on the original trip to the store?

I work in the it of a global company... you don't imagine the idiocity i face from the soo called Master Minds...

IT Senior tech: "I don't how could they f`ck up this simple instruction"
Me: "They did exactly what you told them to do"
IT Senior tech: "yes, they should know better"

IT Senior Tech: "I implemented this change without your authorisation, now the audit are filling a report, can you help me answer them?"
Me: "You did what?!"

IT Project Manager:"I need to order aditional servers and space for a project, who can i speak?"
Me (ironic):"Maybe you should get a IT Project Manager"
IT Project Manager:"Cool, do you have his contact?"

IT Project Manager:"All new Processes and mandatory IT comms should be placed on the IT Portal. I can't read all those emails."
Human Resource Cooworker:"Good idea, what do you like the most on the IT Portal?"
IT Project Manager:"Oh, i have never entered it."

This is not make up, this are serious work discussions :S

People in my workplace thinks that if a thing has cables or works with electricity I.T. should fix it...

Say for example an extension cord or a lightbulb...

Or when people ask me the status on their car repairs...

"Um, we're waiting for the final bill so we can pay it."
"Yes, but where in the repairs are they? Has it been fixed? Painted?"
"...have you tried calling the shop directly and asking?"
"Oh, I can do that?!"

3 hours of wipes on Amber Shaper because people can't click 1 really hit my alreadyweakened nerves quite hard.

Problem is, the tactic for amber shaper heroic is very tight, meaning if one person fails at timing his hit, the stacks drop and you might as well wipe since you will wipe on enrage anyway.
Very frustrating to wipe over and over after 6-7 mins of fight, because of something you can't control.

The saddest part is, we had 4 recruits in raid as well, who also got the construct, and did all well at first attempt without failing, while some wellknown elder members kept failing at it until the raid leader eventually raged at them and replaced them.

I'm sort of glad this sunday I'm out with my girl so I won't be there to fail even more :|

Well, do you raid 25men, this issue is even worst there... (personal experience)
You can wipe all night and on the last try, aka "this is it", it hit's some guy that has never been inside the abomination.

In 25men, we are using a different tactic that was the tank did all the interrupts and the new "add" just kept the stacks...
Easy job for me, who none-the-less failed... yes i'm one of those...
I did my interrupts and kept stacks, but when i was missing 5seconds to leave the "abomination" i waited to refresh the stack till the last second... so Morgan's law:
Tank moves the boss, i press "1"... out of range... move forward... "Mind-control"... leave the add :S
Wipe..

P.S. i think the range on the ability is slightly bigger that melle range, but somehow i was "THAT" far of the boss on the critical second.

We are using the tactic where the tank does all the interrupts while other constructs have only to keep the stack on boss and interrupt self.

Failing to interrupts self doesnt necessary mean a wipe as the construct aoe only hits for 250k or so... Lost count of the amount of wipes for losing stacks on the boss. Not sure what's so hard in spamming 1 really :s

p.s. as you might have noticed from my rage posts in the previous page, I do raid 25 heroic :P

Now it's a 10men and i log once a week to ask if they are already 25men.

Cheers

so, i check out the reborn bc blacksmithing weapons.

at least...as of this point...thunder/deep thunder/stormherald are agility weapons for bear and monk.

the drakefist hammer and up is a caster weapon.

wtf? i guess it just seems odd because as i could make the 2h mace in bc...it was best in slot for ret back then because of it's slow speed...up through the end of hyjal and then if you got cat's edge or the mace that i forget the name of in black temple...you couln't get anything better.

i know transmog doesn't matter...but it just seems off to me. oh well...at least i can finally get bloodmoon back...and my ele shaman will have the option of using drakefist for either casting or enhance.

At least the patterns are back in game.

Side note: It appears they are adding 'catch up' patterns for BS, similar to the way cooking is now, so if you have a few thousand ghost iron laying around, you could level BS in an afternoon, without digging up all those old mats. If they keep doing this, I'll do LW on my hunter once they get around to that.

saw that...like spoons and whatever else. it's actually a good idea. i have no desire to level my alchemy on my dk...or play my alt...but i don't feel like paying a billion gold for arcanite bars as i want to make sulfuras...so i at least have to do it up to that part as i got the recipe for 5 gold on the ah.

true...i could always go heals on my pally...except i've never healed and that would be an adventure i would not want to bring anyone with me...as they would die...many times over.

guess i'll just make the mace and have it as my transmog mace...that's actually if i learn the pattern...or sell it for some phat lootz as some people say.

I made the Sulfuron Hammer last week after I got the drop to make the Hand of Ragnaros and thought why not. The only really expensive part was getting the blood of the Mountain. 700g each on my server (Aggramar, EU). I haven't seen any listed since I bought them all either and never got one to drop for me from kills or mining after about 10 MC runs.

have enough dark iron to last me a life time. blood of the mountain...i have 8...refuse to buy 2 of them for almost 1000k gold. f that.

have 20 arcanite bars. will probably just power level my alchemy this weekend..get up to 275...go thorium mining for the ore and crystals...go to town and make the stupid mace.

the right binding is being a bitch for my warrior to acquire.

In Sithilus I got an arcanite crystal every 5th node and each circuit there was a continuous string of nodes. I don't think I did more than a couple of hours of mining to get the whole lot. I do have an alt that transmutes though so that helped. I highly recommend levelling alch on your alt and doing a couple of circuits.
It was far quicker to get 50 Arcanite bars than the 1 pair of Saltstone legplates that took me @%#%#%@ 4 hours of whomping ogres before switching to a cloth wearing alt and getting them to drop in the first 10 minutes.

(Obviously this is probably more a transmog conversation, but the grind for the legplates is the most frustrating thing I have ever done on Wow - that includes 40 person MC raids!)

bloods were a bitch to get, but between mining on 3 toons and going through the instance to clear just the trash that dropped them, i was able to get all of them in time
i just havent gotten back there to finish mining the stupid dark iron

as far as alch, i have one of each spec of alch now, and will def be using my transmute one for the bars
the only problem is getting the dam arcane crystals

Well, Winterspring wasn't that bad, even before Cata. Did it in early LK though, so it might have been trickier in BC.

I liked WS more during LK, the mobs were a non-issue and there were lots of rich veins if you stuck to the east side
