Wish I got to find out, that was next on our list after Thad.

preBC was WAY better to raid
paladins were NOT a tanking class in anyway
I was a PvP reckoning paladin that raid healed
it was better because holy spec did very little to help healing
crits give free heals... with no crit gear!
only thing worth it was divine int and holy light talents, and occasionaly spiritual focus
i did however offtank MC adds on most of the MC bosses
also tanked some naxx trash lol, that was always fun (i was our best geared paladin)

Hence the reason why Months Behind > Scions of Destiny in TBC - no more RDX playing the game for you!
pfft, RDX only played the game for healers and decursers, and most of them quit with TBC anyway. along with most of the dps and the tanks...

yeah, but loatheb's periodic self decurse negated it until just before TBC launch.

epic drama between paladins and the mages over who made best use of Azuresong Mageblade
I actually tanked raid bosses on my Paladin, some deliberate, some inadvertantly.
I tanked both Lucifron and Gehennas to successful kills....but only did so as a punishment for my raid group.
Gave a speech like "Hey DPS, you see my mana bar? When that runs out, the tanking runs out, soooo...I suggest you do a lot better DPS than we've been doing on BWL work, or else all of us are going to die horribly. Just saying."
I also tanked the last 9% of Ragnaros on our first kill.
The MT died, the off tank was already dead. We had plenty of DPS up, but few healers. We could kill him, if I could just buy us some time. Bitterly, desperately, I hoisted my Finkle's Lava Dredger.
I ran forward.
The giant flame turned to me, towering high above my head. The shadow of his hammer slid over me.
People in vent were screaming.
Smack! Smack!
I was a 20% health.
Bubble..IMMUNE
I bandage myself.
Bubble fades, Smack! Smack!
I was down to 10%
I stared up into the looming giant's face, and grinned.
The hammer fell.
Vent exploded.

My experience as well. Healboting, cleanseboting, the occasional OT in MC. That was my job as a prot pally. Oh, and yes...lest we forget tanking "the butcher". Dear lord he was annoying! When he dropped aggro, the normal drill was to stop all actions, run into my consecrate and hope I could get his attention before he killed somebody.
I also recall the abilty to double bubble yourself as there was no forbearance. I remember farming Tyr's Hand and if things got a bit dangerous you could run, DS, then BoP. That gave a 16 seconds of immunity to physical allowing you to usually run unhindered. At the end of that, the mobs reset. Drink up, continue farming.

Vaelastrasz the Corrupt suffers X Nature damage from Reegan's Serpent Sting.
and suddenly Vent was filled with LOLs.
