not the best but im still working on being uncrushable which will be easy next patch with the engineering tanking helm. if i swap out a stam trinket for my defence trinket i have around 1.4% to be crushed from memory and in the current gear in the screen shot around 3% to be crushed if i use both stam trinkets.

in that current gear with out any buffs i have 16.45 dodge, 15.56% parry and 16.65% shield block. with that new tank sword and engineering helm(when new patch comes out) and that stupid ring from the last boss of arc assuming it ever drops, buffed with a motw and kings ill have around 20% dodge, 18% parry, 20% shield block 510+ defence (from rough memory) while retaining both stam trinkets.

atleats next patch you can get a 45 stam trinket once your revered with the netherwing faction, will be a big grind but helpful for pally tanks that arnt engineers and dont need the extra avoidance from a defensive trinket.

akaik there will be some sort of quest reward with 2.1 at the netherwing faction. also a trinket, also 45 stamina. i might get this then.^^

I would like to be viable in SSC and beyond. Really not fun that we cant get gear or only needed to tank when a warrior is not around. I have tanked all of kara and adds on maulgar.

When comparing the Hitpoint gap between warriors and Paladin you never forget one thing:

Ranged Weapon Slot

Any random warrior can pick up a +25 stamina bow off the AH, and when the patch hits won't there be a +39 Stamina Gun?

39 stamina gun + (2) 45 stamina trinkets + 1300HP (closer to the truth)
= 2600 HP

Until you get to the point where you are uncrushable without trinkets, at that point the difference is about 1700 Hitpoints.

Remember increased avoidance on everything post-2.1 is going to make the uncrushable gap a lot smaller, just moving from live to PTR I gained ~6% avoidance.

1200 HP difference doesn't make us take more damage. We don't need more healing than Warriors do (except that their Defensive Stance reduces 4% more, 6% more against spelldamage). More healing doesn't help.

Hit Points decides how mighty a blow you can take. Say a paladin is at 15000 HP. A warrior in the same gear would have 16200 HP. Both have 70% DR. A 50000 hit (15000 HP) would insta-kill the paladin, leaving the warrior with 1200 health, ready to be patched up again.

This matters for single, hardhitting bosses. At those places, warriors seldom to never get their Shield Block eaten, so we're not less vulnerable than they are. The 8 blocks from Holy Shield only apply where it matters less.
