Which makes sense from the class perspective. IMO the game doesn't need more classes it needs to focus on the existing ones they can't balance to begin with.

So no new class or race and the Horde are the bad guys again?

i(nterest)level for this expac = 0

...but then I'm no longer in the demographic for this game and I should admit I'm too old (and grumpy) once and for all. :)

Not too happy to see that the leaked garrosh+timetravel thing was correct.

Hopefully they will make it excitingly enough.

Garrisons be awesome.

Build it in any zone. Send followers off on quests, dungeons or raids to return spoils to you. Access to non-character professions. Buildings give you bonuses, buffs when you're in the world, buffs to your followers.

True, but they've been really rubbing it in with the current one (MoP) and haven't even tried to pretend it was in the past or inadvertent or whatever. They just went straight to Horde leader = devil, must kill.

I suppose for the final raid of WoD they might as well just include forced faction transfers for all Horder raiders. ;)

Flex scaling applied to normal, heroic and LFR. New Mythic mode designed for a fixed size of 20.

though i thought LFR was staying the same based on MMO-Champ and WoWInsider updates i read (no virtual ticket so if you have live info, i will defer to you)


The queue will still be at 25, but once inside the boss will scale to actual number of people in the raid if someone drops group on trash inbetween.

Guess Blizzard's way of solving the 10 vs 25 debate was shitting all over both of them.

So 10m H guilds need to double their ranks and 25s have to drop 5 players.

Who decided this was a good idea?

So from now on you've got: LFR, Flex, Flex-Normal, Flex-Heroic, and Mythic? Or are they just dropping the separate Flex tier and renaming everything down a level? (Flex->Normal, Normal->Heroic, Heroic->Mythic)

And yeah, adding a 20-man-only tier is kind of a weird move after all these years of making 10-man viable.

Flex is integrated into normal/heroic.

So you have LFR (that also flexes instead of letting you sit there for half an hour while you wait on another tank or something), Normal/Heroic 10-25(Flex) and Mythic (20)

So in other words

LFR is still LFR
Normal is Flex
Heroic is Normal (and yes being able to add people to possibly cheese mechanics for heroic fights makes it not heroic to me)
Mythic is actual Heroic.

It's a fucking mess.

You'll probably still have to wait if you're short a tank in LFR. Mechanics that require two tanks most likely won't scale to one.

How's it a mess? "Real" raiders won't care about heroic in WoD, just like they don't care about Heroic now. You won't be able to cheese that.
