Blizzard seem to be up to something involving Karazhan. Pre-WoD event?

I'm convinced they are just playing with dataminers :P

Methinks Kara will be involved in opening up our access to Draenor.

The graph on MMO, shows only 0.36% of all WoW players have completed Glory of the Orgimmar Raider Achievement.

That's not surprising. The number of players that actually care about the Glory is fairly low.
Hell, I still haven't bothered finishing it up yet.

Technically, all of that got removed by Medivh prior to Reign of Chaos, so Karazhan is basically just the tower that we raided.

Actually I remember a while back someone mentioned that they didn't understand how Khadgar got to Draenor. It's present-Khadgar, because past-Khadgar only went to Medivh's around the Dark Portal opening, and wasn't "aged" until well after.

I'm guessing the fabric of space-time is pretty frayed around Kara, in part due to Medivh -- so a change in the alternate universe, might actually reflect on our Kara since it that's where the two timelines overlap the most due to all the magical shenanigans.

So, Kara!Prime has changed to reflect Kara!Beta even though Azeroth!Prime's timeline has not changed at all.

Could be something to do with the pre-expansion event, but the name changes are getting silly now. :D

What? Surely your character on AzerothPrime is primed for the beta release of DraenorBeta?

Kara!Prime's big thing was that it was effectively acting as a beacon to sands of time. Medivh literally sucked all of that out of Karazhan, so unless we enter an alternate-timeline-Azeroth, nothing in alternate-Draenor can affect Kara.
In theory. If they don't make up a reason to do whatever they want anyway.

Pretty sure he means

Think the question was due to the image they used on the characters section of the WoD website. They used a picture of young Khadgar on that page, but the description beside it was pretty clearly referring to current-day Khadgar.

That has a few explanations beyond website laziness thogh:
- Maybe Khadgar found a way to reverse the curse.
- Or stepping into an alternate timeline pre-Curse removes the Curse.
- Or he got sick of having a beard and decided to attract some SAVAGE chicks. You know, the whole "shave and suddenly people are like WHOA HE LOOKS HOT" deal.

Which *is* precisely why I've been asking that questions a moon ago, thank you very much. *pout*

Only because they screwed up, or came close to !
It reminds me of when they added ogre and naga masks after worgen and goblin masks were datamined. It's damage control; a diversion.
