I see that getting nerfed.

Isn't this just, exagerating? At this point, some difficulties will feel redundant.

No "Flex" mode.

Flexed LFR, Flexed Normal (the old Flex), Flexed Heroic (the old Normal) and 20-man Mythic.

Garrisons are per character due to tech reasons, massive catch ups for alts
Normal/heroic raiding can use traditional or personal loot systems
We live in a society where people born on third base constantly try to steal second, yet we expect people born with two strikes against them to hit a homerun on the first pitch.

Personal loot will be really nice for the new heroics when you are pugging a bunch.

Well, with all the server merges, they cut into that already anyway...

This also means that the old "leaked" zones list, which had just enough of Cata and Mists to be considered as a potential early draft of zones, can safely be put to rest for good.

If it was real, things have moved on in the narrative enough now that it's worthless.

Maelstrom Set

Gilneas - 77 to 80
Grim Batol - 78 to 81
Kul Tiras - 79 to 82
Kezan - 81 to 86
Tel Abim - 83 to 85
Zandalar - 84 to 87
Plunder Isle - 86 to 88
The Broken Isles - 87 to 90
The Maelstrom - 89 to 90

Plane Set

Pandaria - 1 to 10
Hiji - 10 to 20

Wolfenhold - 1 to 10
Xorothian Plains - 10 to 20

The Green Lands - 88 to 91
The Dying Paradise - 91 to 94
The Emerald Nightmare - 94 to 97
The Eye of Ysera - 97 to 100

Deephome - 88 to 91
Skywall - 91 to 94
The Abyssal Maw - 94 to 97
The Firelands - 97 to 100

Legion Set

K'aresh - 96 to 99
Argus Meadowlands - 97 to 100
Mac'Aree - 99 to 100
Maw of Oblivion - 100+

Also means that the 4chan dude that leaked all the info about the Dark Below is totally full of it. His Mists wild guess was 50% right. This time... :D

sounds good to get rid of 10/25 mess. was absurd this expansion, it's just impossible to tune correctly. talking to friends in 25 men guilds just drove me up the wall.

what do you do in scenario X? oh we just use 2 of tranq/AG/vamp embrace/devotion aura/barrier) each time X happens, it's barely noticable.

sad part is that a lot of 10 men guilds will detonate obviously. also maintaining a roster with 25 players is soo much more work then one with 12-13. but I think in general it's better for heroic/mythic raiding to only have one size.

four difficulties might be one too much, but whatever, basically it's only the names changing and it's the same as it is now. still full of hope that eventually the LFR crap will just die off.

Looking at the new talents. This Mage one is interesting:

Focusing Crystal

40 yd range
Instant, 1 min cooldown
Conjures a focusing crystal at the target location, which is attackable by only the Mage. The crystal will absorb the power of all damage deal to it. After 10 sec, it will release bursts of energy, dealing damage equal to 130% of the damage it took, split between all enemies within 8 yards, over 6 sec.

Thinking about it, you'll probably have Mages with the ability popping it down 8-10 seconds before the pull and nuking it as hard as they can so it immediately deals 130% of the damage over time to the boss (while the Mage also switches to nuking the boss).

Protection Warriors can get a new Stance that turns their defences into damage (increased damage, Shield Slam consumes Shield Barrier for extra damage, crit block converted to crit strike).
I don't play WoW any more.

Apparently the idea behind ALL lvl 100 talents is that they will be strong, gamechanging and possibly graphically impressive, much more than any pre-100 talent.

I suppose the only way to balance something op is to balance it against something equally op ;)

@the above: while I'm glad to see the 9000th version of Holy Shield back, I'd kinda sad if it makes it as a Passive ability.
Maybe I'm nostalgic but I kinda miss the old Holy Shield animation.

I've entered a pact with my wife that YES, I will return to play with her. This x-pack looks too good to pass up... so, BOTH Alliance and Horde, keep Flex raids rolling for 6.0 - I FUCKING want in!
When that day comes, seek all the light and wonder of this world, and fight.
