Problem is, we shouldn't have to do that every xpac. I'm just running out of patience and stamina... I could just see myself quitting and not coming back to WoW. I know a couple of people have tried to get me into beta to no avail, that would at least keep me going if only to get the data Theck needs, but with no beta, no real raid, no real guild and no real interest in WoD, the temptation to unsub looms larger and larger each day, everyone be damned.

If anything at least that would kick my butt into socializing and exercising more.

You're just late to the party. (: Avenging Wrath was listed as ret-only right from the first iteration of the patch notes (though I see Holy got it back at some point).

Well appearantly the meteor effect is "iconic" now, so they don't want to change it. I don't think anyone likes that about it.

You know what was iconic? A two second cast that stunned all undead within 20 yards.

The wings were also added to the Guardian of Ancient Kings animation, for Protection.

Personally I'd like to see a minor glyph that removes the "guardian" and just leaves the wings, I also wouldn't mind seeing a 4-wing option available, as that's limited to Retribution and Holy now. The pool of available minor glyphs shrunk for Protection, this would at least give another option.

I actually like the Seraphim animation, though the crown is a bit over the top.

I know it's the logical thing to do from their PoV and i expected it,but still.....They could have started the cinematic reveal with the CINEMATIC and keep the release date for the last second to keep people glued to the whole conference

The interviews are just making me wish they'll end talking soon this way

Since I'm at work...

Is November 13 the official release date of Draenor?

(So I can put in for time off, if necessary, mostly.)

Yes.

Noticed a nice little nod to the cinematic at the end of the Warcraft III orc campaign in the Warlords of Draenor one. Not going to mention it just yet though, don't want to spoil it for those yet to see it.

Just saw it, not my favorite, or my second favorite, but definitly a strong one, and like you mentionned, a healthy dose of nostalgia vibe.
Speaking of which, and treading lightly with my choice of terms - did you notice how the Iron-fire thingie takes the support position that was once held by a shaman?
Interesting contrast right there, and as I'm not very up to date with the WoD story, I'm wondering if that's a willing choice to express how fel magic and shamanism is being replaces by technology, iron and fire in this Iron Horde.

The ending of the cinematic was such a loregasm.

Anyway, for those who would like to know, or didn't notice, what the nostalgia vibe was:

Here's the cinematic that played at the end of the Warcraft III orc campaign. In both this and the WoD cinematic, pay close attention to the fiery demise of a certain pit lord...

Same - WotLK remains the golden standart for me. I'll probably rustle some feathers, but MoP is still second.

Did they really reveal who the final boss is gonna be in WoD? That kinda kills the excitement. Also, another orc final boss... yay...

On my part, it's coumpounded by "WHO is having a heavy influence on the raid? THEM? AGAIN?" Someone's being his usual dumb self...

Just a small reminder :
TIP : Remember to take all things in moderation (even world of Warcraft!)

From : http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/blog/151076 ... 06-08-2014

Molten Core Gets Boosted
… For the anniversary celebration, max-level players will be able to participate in a special 40-player Raid Finder version to relive the experience of hunting down Ragnaros and his minions within his fiery lair. …

From Ingame Calendar
Wow’s 10 anniversary event starts on November 17th at 10:00AM
Wow’s 10 anniversary event ends on December 2nd at 10:00AM

From GamesCon Announcement
Warlords of Draenor will release on 11.13.14 (November 13th)

Guess I’ll moderately have to level up at least one character from 90 to 100 in less than 4 days (5 days counting tuesday November 18th) to be able to enjoy at least the first lockout of the MC Raid Finder. Offcourse I could take my time (since the event lasts until December 2nd), but that would be taking a risk since it requires making use of Retard Finder to get it… oh bless…

WTF where you thinking Blizzard?????
