I thought it was more of 'SoI for survivability, SoR/SoT for when you want some extra damage, but we expect SoI to be used more', as opposed to 'Yeah, you may be able to take those others off your bars' :P

GC just tweeted they're going to try capping Vengeance at 30% health in 10 man and 50% health in 25. Said it might be in patch 5.4, not 5.3, because it's a big change.

I think that's just to stop "standing in fire" to get high vengeance values.

Outside of this sort of situations (or soaking attacks you aren't intended to soak) I don't really see Vengeance getting anywhere close to those levels.

*insert personal rant*

I hope they'll go and look at tanks damage balance before changing vengeance...I'm getting kind of tired of my co-tank monk doing 1/3 more dps than me

And as much as my 3 top skill with keg smash alone.

On single target





And now doing heroic it's getting even more frustrating & also becoming a problem....

Of course you do realize it's Monk QQ that is causing the current pally nerfs, right?

Were hunter CC abilities so OP PVP that they required the massive nerf to hunter, and particularly BM, PVP cooldowns? I haven't seen the huge outcry that these changes would suggest.

Or are they trying to get BM out of PVP? Combine the removal of the 30% specials haste plus the doubling of the cooldowns on any stun.. Gonna be a big change for BM PVP, with some PVE spillover since they are making the changes very sloppily.

Don't forget we can't get both Intimidate and Silencing Shot anymore either.

(Not that I PvP at all, but that's still annoying...)

They're going to forget to reduce the pet CD on half the "PvE stuff". All the group buffs and PvE debuffs fall into this, and there are so many different names/spells (because of different "pet flavor")... *sigh*

Well, BM is *fucking obnoxious* in pvp, so I'm ok with them getting hit. The amount of CC they bring with the right pets in addition to that STUPID FUCKING STAMPEDE is a little over the top.

Hunters are already an "ignore" target for my group (HPal + 2hFrostDK / War/DK/MW Monk) because you can't really do much to lock them out of their DPS skills outside of stuns, whereas other ranged in pvp can be interrupted, gripped and stunned etc.

I think it's fair they come down a bit in terms of what they bring to the table.
