With haste stacking we're doing more damage and consequently producing more healing.

I dunno, maybe if they had listened to what the paladin community was saying back in the beta...

I represent Forum Hyperbole for a reason. =P

But seriously, hasn't Theck predicted several things that only Blizz finds out much later? I dunno... like Chill of the Throne, or Paladins waning, but still be good, towards the end of cata since we hit the 102.4% block cap in firelands... or, you know... Haste in MOP?

I know they listen to Theck, but at the same time, they seem to be in a sort of echo chamber in their office where they just repeat of a mantra "we're most likely right this time around"

The trouble with asking good designers to find a flaw in their design is that they never would have made it in the first place if they thought it was bad design.

Yeah, I remember we talked about echo-chamber effect within blizz when discussing their hiring policies, and the danger it poses.

I'm thinking this is just a(nother) symptom of it.

Well, we could discuss our own campaign for 3sec CS back in beta Cata, and just how well that went, but you'd call me mean :-p
When that day comes, seek all the light and wonder of this world, and fight.

Well, that worked. So its not like they are completely deaf. But the haste issue was pretty egregious.

Reminds me of the 2012 romney campaign with theck as nate silver, and blizz as karl rove

Worldie wrote:Also, can someone help me understanding this kind of patch changes
Revival now has a healing cap of 15 raid members (up from 6) when used in a 25-player instance.

I don't understand, my monk's Revival (and my priest VE which has similar change) heal all 25 members, when did they get a 6 player cap O_O?

I don't know these spells, but it's probably referring to the AoE cap.
Even if your thing heals all the raid, the TOTAL healing it does doesn't increase above 6 target, or 15 targets now in 25 players instances.

Well thing is VE healing is already divided amongst targets healed in a meteor fashion, does that divide the heals even further?

Looks like the launcher has started downloading 5.3 data.
I don't play WoW any more.
