80 Paladin Solo Elegon

The reason they put a cap on vengeance now lol.

Level 80 prot paladin Faruz solo's Elegon through the use of blue BoE gear from MoP that can be equipped at lvl 80. Gear included cloth, mail, and plate pieces just for the huge amount of secondary stats (mastery + haste hard cap, woo).
Utilized sacred shield's haste + AP scaling with rediculous amounts of damage to take no damage throughout the entire fight.

What are people's opinions? Clever use of game mechanics or a flat out exploit that needed to be fixed?

Part of me is just miffed that I didn't think of trying it first, but at the same time I don't think it's right that a lvl 80 can solo a boss that caused gratuitous amounts of grief for a lot of full guild raid groups.

Being talked about in this thread - SotR/Vengeance bug.

You left out the most important point, which is the exploit that allowed him to build up that Vengeance in the first place.
