I was lagging horribly and WoW warned me it was due to add-ons. The game helpfully pointed out I could turn on "show ULA errors" or some such in the control options; I did so and the error message identified Healbot as the culprit. I don't know if that will allow you to identify which add-ons cause problems, but it was nifty in that instance.

Also, if you're using lots of addons and you want to find that one troublemaker, use the stack method:
Disable half of your addons. If you're still having issues, cut the stack of active addons in half again. When the issue is gone, proceed with the stack you disabled last. This method allows you to indentify the broken addon very fast.
Doesn't help in the case of conflicting addons though.

I am looking at gear on WoWHead and have found this helm:

Wowhead lists it in the following versions:

Item Level 483 marked as "Raid Finder"
Item Level 496 not marked as anything (assumed to be from "regular" raids)
Item Level 503 marked as "Elite"
Item Level 509 marked as "Heroic"
Item Level 516 marked as "Heroic Elite"

So, what is this "Elite" thing that I am seeing? I have not heard of it at all.

There's one fight in the raid that works like AQ40 bug trio and Twin eredars in Sunwell. If you kill the bosses in a different order, you get Elite loot.

Apparently they're letting movement speed stuff stack now. Sprint stacks with Nightstalker so with glyphed Sprint you can move at 240% in stealth. Ghost Wolf (glyphed) stacks with Spirit Walk for 208%.

robably could have seen these thing on beta, but I never heard/noticed.

Best thing in the patch so far for me...

They changed the humanoid shapeshifts so you can use them & use a mount

That means you ccan use mounts as a moonkin without going out of the shapeshift



That means that worgen druids can use running wild as giant chickens....

....now,every time i stare at my mount-speed-running moonkin,i hear the benny hill's theme in the background...

Except you can't mount while shifted by the Mage's Glyph of Illusion. Even though all the forms are playable races.

Oh wow, I didn't realise just how awesome Illusion is. Thought it just gave you a random race's appearance, but it can copy the appearance of what you're targetting! I'm a tree!
