Things to do before Pandaclysm

1) Cap all archeology races at 200 fragments, allowing for early fast skill-ups.
2) Gather enough mats for cooking, etc to move existing yellow recipes to grey.
3) Scout Beta for ideal mining/gathering zones
4) Scout Beta for tameable rarespawns
5) Vacation
6) Prepare for alternate profession to engineering if Blizz finally gets rid of mote gathering and crafted goggles.
7) ?....

Seriously though:
Why shift to grey recipes if you're already capped? You'll get new, presumably yellow/orange ones pretty quick and the food will probably be outdated once the pandas hit the shore.

And yeah, as much as I'd love engineering to see shorter cooldowns on transporters and the ability to actually make the goggles useful for more than a patch, I doubt it'll happen. But I'd love to be proven wrong.

Don't forget to have the going away party for your epics.

I misunderstood - I got what you mean now... gather mats, sit on em until you can train the next level, then grind what you got.

Yep, pump out the first 20-30 skill points on cheap mats if you can.

Do Fortune Cookies give skill ups? I figure they might since it requires 525 to learn the recipe, but I've seen stranger things. If they do, that would probably be my route to leveling cooking, since at least then I have the potential to get some money back by eating the cookies to reveal the cards.

My list:

1) Cap fishing on priest
2) Start/max archaeology on priest (not looking forward to this )
3) Get at least honored with Bloodsail (preferably exalted)
4) Finish capping Ally reps and continue working on pre-Cata reps (been focusing on BC relatively recently)
5) Reach 50k gold

I honestly doubt I'll get most (if any) of it done... but it's something to shoot for.

Seriously though, I think my only real goal is getting my ret paladin to level 85 just to get the guild completion for level 85 draenei paladin, just to turn around and delete it to make room for a monk as it's my only slot that I'm really willing to consider leaving open/deleting.

If you like the Ret, I would wait till we are closer to launch as they may change the whole 10 toons per server thing, especially if there are going to be 11 classes messing with people who like to have 1 of every class.

If you don't care for the toon, then it doesn't matter.

It's my third paladin so I'm really not that fussed about her. She's primarily a boredom filler at the moment.

Although I do hope they raise the 10 toons per server cap as it's nice to have options of playing classes I don't already have.

1: get LFR gurth on my warrior
2: decide if i want to level engineering on my warrior or not
3: try and get over 50k on my pally and 30k on my shaman
4: maybe level another toon to 85
5: play some other games...that aren't on the comp
6: i want to go to maine this year...i want to cruise the coast, eat lobster rolls and just chill out for a week.
