Everytime I log from my hunter to my paladin I try to focus-dump ... ^ is Arcane Shot on my hunter and cleanse on my paladin

Just get decursive or something similar and you won't need it on your bars. I guess you don't have to get a mod, but would give you the option to cleanse without needing bar/keybind space.

As a tank I don't think I've used it in a while... And yeah, makes me sad. I love having utility. I love my Word of Glory, and my Cleanse and my Hand of Freedom and - Well, basically everything that lets me do more than just tank while tanking.



Use it all the time as Ret in PvP though.

I used to use it on poisons in ZG 85. Before that, probably dispelling disease on the LK fight while tanking the horrors.

My dispel keybinding is the same on every character (KP_INS) so it gets to keep its spot. I never remember that I can self-cleanse in Ret though, which is ironic since I was so pissed about Prot not getting that ability...

As prot,I wanted to cleanse a poison off yesterday,then I realized I dont even have it on my actionbars since 4.01
As ret,I cleanse the hell out of myself in pvp:D tho mages are pumping out snares and slows faster and I go OOM after 10 secs.

It's a deliberate design decision by Blizzard. Magic dispel given to all healers, and only to healers (except all priest can dispel magic on self-only, I believe). Then, because that's the only guaranteed dispel in a group, all "important" effects were made magic. Hence, just about everything you'd ever care to dispel is magic.

In old content there's still cleansing to be done. I used it a bit as Ret when farming Brood rep in AQ40 - there's some poison in there. Farming MC, not so much. Everything annoying is magic or a curse, so I end up bubbling them off.
