I'd have guessed you hated you prime minister more.

That said, I think there is a kick starter to provide the funds required to purchase an alleged tape of the mayor smoking crack

Yeah there is. They reached their goal ($200,000) but the guy that has the tape isn't responding to calls.

I guess I'm more aware of local news than national news (as ridiculous as that sounds). Part of that is because our mayor makes SOOOOOOOOOOOOO many retarded mistakes that he's in the news (and consequently, all over my facebook feed) with all the idiotic things he's managed to do this week.

A complete aside but I think the idea of being more into local politics than national is a good thing.

Certainly a good place to really make a visible difference too. School Boards, various committees, etc. - lots of stuff that can directly impact you on a daily basis.

Maybe the Mayor did it, to take the video out of the public domain?

It's not the people making the fundraiser that's gone, but the one they were supposed to be buying from. Stupid thing to use [Edit: Indiegogo] for, either way, if you can't be sure they'll get what they're after. Looks like they've promised if it all falls through the money will go to a drugs charity.

I mentioned in the other thread that Enhancement burst dps is ridiculous with the new buffs. Well today I hit half a million dps during Heroism on Durumu. Wonder how long it'll last (overall dps is in a decent place, but we're still very very bursty).

I think they opened a deportation process against the guy, and there are rumors about the dept of labor starting an inquiry on the place after they said on the show that they withhold all tips from the workers, which is illegal as hell.

The guy conveniently forgot to mention his criminal past when applying for a residence visa. Apparently he has been banned from entering France and Germany, and has a rap sheet that contains financial crimes and extortion.

I love the bit where he does sort of a "FORWARDS, GENTLEMEN" move.
