Yep, saw that on the news - very impressive work with Police costumes, baklavas, assault weapons...

Well, terrifying would be more adequate. But the diamond industry in Belgium is pretty much 90% blood diamonds, so no wonder it attracts the seedy and the dangerous.

Yeah, don't ask me why that name is sometimes used for full-face masks. >_>

So the diamond cartel just releases some of the billions of diamonds they have in store rooms to make up for it or they pretend that this is a huge loss and price hike the remaining stock until their slow release brings the supply back up?
We live in a society where people born on third base constantly try to steal second, yet we expect people born with two strikes against them to hit a homerun on the first pitch.

Is there some sort of memo that I missed when I faction changed to alliance where it says "get used to 90% of mages and shamans in randoms having no fucking clue what Time Warp/Heroism is"?

I'm too lazy to bother using Heroism most of the time in that kind of content.

It happens in EVERYTHING. I don't get it. We had NINE people in LFR this morning capable of it (and this wasn't even with me bothering to check how many BM hunters we had) and nothing. I never had this problem when I was horde.

Jesus, is everyone that adamant about Heroism? After a first kill I'm usually like "meh, whatever" about hero.

Any dps that cares about doing good damage cares about when heroism is so they can plan their cooldown usage appropriately!

And "being too lazy" to press one button? (in response to Kysen) That doesn't make any sense. Surely the effort involved in pressing one off the gcd ability will be more than made up for by killing the boss a few gcds faster.

It's more of a "if you have a way to make the fight end faster why not use it" type of thing. It's like in LFR if your dps is going to be shit the least you could do is throw a bone to the people carrying you.

Meh, it's LFR, you're not gonna fail a dps check.

You'd be surprised.

This probably shouldn't surprise me but for some reason it just blows me away.

I think it comes down to a combination of things:
1) knowing what it is and what it does but:
a) having been yelled at too many times about using it at the wrong time but never being told or figuring out when the right time is
b) figuring you don't need it (like pre-potting, etc.)
c) figuring someone else will do it

or 2) simply not having any idea what it is or why you should use it (I'd bet this is pretty rare compared to the above)

edited to add:

Really, I'm of the opinion that cooldowns are meant to be used. Survival cooldowns are a bit different, but I'll still use them in content where 'I don't need to' if it will help get the job done easier and faster. Why not pop hero on the last boss of a 5-man (I can understand earlier bosses because of time)? It's not like potting that costs money, giving it at least some sort of reason for limiting useage to certain content. I doubt many people are going to be jumping from a 5-man directly into a high-DPS check raid fight where that debuff is going to cause them to flip a table.

My current amusement's is Blizzard's lack of understanding of rets and so, once again, we're getting a 2 min baseline CD. So we'll be nerfed because "our dps isn't where blizzard intends it to be" as they've stated in the past.

Hunters are generally SV in LFR, and typically don't bring a corehound anymore, since mages got the spell as well.

There's one other problem with hero/lust/warp in LFR.

If you use it at x point in the fight, 50% will yell at you that you used it too soon, the rest will yell at you that you used it too late. I got to the point with my shammy that I always let someone else cast it, so they would be the target of the 12-year-old and basement-dweller rage.

i am almost always survival
why bother with it when you have shamans and mages that can bring it, and i get to play my preferred spec

and if you say it enough eventually someone will use it...
though generally i am the one that does when playing my mage or shaman
