I've never known someone to announce that they're apathetic about their heritage.

Maybe he meant even other gradients, like somewhat ashamed, little ashamed, little proud and somewhat proud...

Or rank how you feel about your heritage between 1 and 10, with 1 being extremely negative and 10 being extremely positive... You know, like those surveys?

I...guess I can concede that, but I can still say I've never known anyone to announce that they're somewhat ashamed/little ashamed/little proud/somewhat proud of their heritage.

So, on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being extremely apathetic and 10 being superdiduperly proud...how would you rate your feelings towards your MLP heritage?

Heritage is probably more of a thing for those in a nation like the US. I couldn't really care less about my heritage. I'm white working class english, from a white working class english background... it's just... meh.

(Then again, I'm anti-nationalism and anti-patriotism, so maybe it's not surprising.)

7.5

You'll never see me at cons or gatherings... they're kinda weird to say the least... although I've heard small gatherings are ok

I might have some shirts, but hey, some of those shirts have cool designs, specially the Art Noveau ones. My best friend gave me a set of ponies just for lulz, in part because she said she would in case she would convert me to ponies, which she did.

The community is very big in part because of all the fan-created media, you got fighting games, phoenix wright type of games, mario kart type of games, platformers... you got musics of all kind, remixes of the music from the show or completely original compositions, and in all kinds of style -- be it dubstep, metal or orchestra, without vocals or with vocals, including some in latin.

The show is not great, but its really good, specially compared to other shows... in fact, as of lately, there seems to be a revival of good cartoons, like MLP, The Regular Show, Gravity Falls, et al.

Some people assume is this kind of crazy thing... for me, it's just another way to relax after a hard day from work... get some whiskey, play wow, have the show playing in the background, and it's not like MLP is the only show I play in the background. I got a bunch of tv series stored in my file server so I can queue them up on demand.

But really, I have no problems saying I like the show because I am don't need a validation from others about what is apropos for my gender/age to like. Nor I go around telling other people they must watch the show, at least I don't think I do -- people have different tastes -- if someone actually asks me if I could recommend an episode because they want to see what this is about, then I will offer some suggestions, but otherwise I remain mum on the issue.

I just watched my roommate run into a magnetic chalkboard that belongs to my cubicle-mate.

Twice.

Took me about 14 characters across 5 realms, but when I logged the last character, I got up to 9005 achievement points, thus getting It's Over Nine Thousand! ^^ Oh and I seem to earn first aid achievements every time I log in on my dk, while never touching first aid ^^

Just need to find out how I can see the progress of my account bound achievements on the armory :s

So the protesters are back again outside the Naval Base here in Spain. Takes nearly an hour to get into work by car because they have the three lanes of traffic down to barely 1. However, this morning, I watched a bicycle guy squeeze between two cars and was about to hop the curb to get around the protesters. One of them jumped out in front of him with her arms outstretched and got herself ran over by the bike because he couldn't stop fast enough.

He just got back on his bike and rode on, didn't even stop.

You bunch of wimps. ;) I had ~12400 pre-patch (~12500 now) on a single character (and I know plenty others who are much higher than me!)
