Firefox and Safari, and test on IE as needed. Never do much with Chrome beyond testing, unless I need another browser for another Twitter login or something similar.

RIM really is that stupid, isn't it?...

Yep, Flash will be dead on the web in 2 years. Flash just got sent to hospice care.

/party

RIM and their Blackberries will probably be history in 3 years (once iPhone & Droid have sufficient security) and then they can take Flash into history with them.

You can take dreamweaver from me when you pry it from my cold dead fingers.

They finally got rid of the awful awful awful design mode where you "drew" your website. I like working in it since they got rid of that.

Chrome has all of the features of Firefox with about half of the overhead. Safari won't save font sizes for webpages, so it's dead to me.

I don't know what that means.

I'm half blind and I like big monitors (sic). If I hit command + a few times when I visit a website, it makes the font larger so that I can read it. Chrome and FF save this setting for each web domain, so that when you visit the site again, it is legible. Safari doesn't save this setting on any version that I've had, so I would literally have to adjust every support ticket that I look at when I'm working, and that just wouldn't work.

They (and jobs for that matter) said that flash uses to much power and cpu for mobile devices. No one ever said normal flash was dead or will die.

Flash is a beast that works best when used on a PC, adobe was foolish to try and make it compact, and they have backed away from mobil flash but still fully support normal flash on PCs

Flash is a wonderfull thing if your pluged into a wall, and I personaly havent used it in a few years, but i enjoyed my time with it.

My toughts on Flash: Byebye and you will surely NOT be missed here...

Had to do it half a year for a college assignment... Almost made me fail the year there because of the way its not working whenever you try something -.- With that I surely hope I dont have to do anything with flash again ever... And those crappy websites will never load on my phone either... Surely going HTML5 for me, combined with Notepad to make it.

What annoys me most is that there is lot of plain H264 video on the internet judging by what I can view on my iPhone but on the desktop sites still serve it up in a flash container! :( I wish I could get rid of flash altogether but clicktoplugin will have to do.

I have removed flash at the OS level and that has worked on some sites to send h264 video. If that doesn't work I do an on the fly switch user agent string switch to the iPad which works okay. Then if that fails I open the URL in chrome which has built-in flash.

Sounds good, I will give that a try.

I never liked how they just sandbagged Flash by not supporting it, but I have to blame Adobe for that. It's been an integral part of the web for nearly a decade, yet nobody bothered getting it to work on smartphones or the PS3 until it was too late.

That said, I predict that I'll still be using IE6 5 days a week through 2015.
