I doubt it. MS is not providing service patches for whatever godforsaken version on Windows that your IT dept is pushing on you. They will have to upgrade sooner or later.

You'd be amazed at how little that matters for some organizations. Sometimes legacy applications just dictate this sort of thing...

XP is supported through 2014, isn't it? I'm sure if there's a way to install IE6 on Windows 7, they will find it.

Nope. There isn't.

I don't think XP is getting all the patches for that long. I know my IT group is finally making the change, and they are still working on stone tablets.

The US military upgraded from IE 6... I'm pretty sure you guys will get there sooner or later... hell, we're actually moving up to Windows 7 soon (thankfully they didn't decide to keep Vista around for long)! If only I could get more than 1G of ram on my work computer, then I'd be doing great things...

Also... Chrome at home, IE at work.
