Re: Facebook Group Name reference
What's the rationale for a Facebook group anyway? We communicate on this forum already, so another forum in which to communicate seems redundant.

Putting a face to a name is usually the highlight for me.

I can only think of a few people on here that know who I am on FB. I think I like the anonymity

Re: Facebook Group Name reference
I'd consider joining, but I want to keep my online usernames and activities completely un-linkable to my real life identity.
Additionally, my facebook is regularly inspected by my higher-ups to ensure compliance with information non-disclosure laws, and while it's not technically a bad thing, if the fact that I ever played World of Warcraft came out within my unit the perception of me would suffer (to the point of it subconsciously even affecting my performance evaluations and therefore promotions) and it would put me through a lot of needless crap that I don't want to deal with.

In all honesty there isn't much point to the group, Same for the Maintankadin wiki
The original group was created back in October 2008 so has been around for a while.
Main purpose is to put a face to the name and the group chat.

Re: Facebook Group Name reference

Brekkie:Tanks are like shitty DPS. And healers are like REALLY distracted DPS
Amirya:Why yes, your penis is longer than his because you hit 30k dps in the first 10 seconds. But guess what? That raid boss has a dick bigger than your ego.
Flex:I don't make mistakes. I execute carefully planned strategic group wipes.
Levie:(in /g) It's weird, I have a collar and I dont know where I got it from, Worgen are kinky!
Levie:Drunk Lev goes and does what he pleases just to annoy sober Lev.
Sagara:You see, you need to *spread* the bun before you insert the hot dog.

3 months later on I can answer this. When Maintankadin goes down we all ask each other in the group chat "Is it down?".

You can probably also take the "(new)" out of the link in your signature!
I do enjoy the "is it down?" conversations, but the links to important news posts are nice too since I tend to check FB more often than MT (blasphemy, I know).

If I do that then I have to face the reality that I haven't updated my Holy gear list. Might try and do that tonight (which generally means I won't).

Lies. The last time you said you were going to put the Facebook group together you said something like "I'll do it at some point over the next few days". Five minutes later you'd already created the group!
