I would check to make sure your vent is up to date. I might even uninstall, and reinstall.

Guys, the compressor is a feature of DirectSound that Ventrilo uses on Windows. Ventrilo is not written to use any equivalents on Mac OS X. There's no need to link him to the instructions when he clearly said in the OP that they don't work for him.

Worldie, your problem has no solution. Sorry.

Invis uses a mac whereas I use a PC and we do the exact same thing to modify an individual person's audio in Vent.

I had a guildie who used a mac and was able to do vent normalization. I'll ask him when he gets home how he did it.

My guess is that there may be a beta version that does it. The Prod version that they have on their downloads page is definitely pre-fix.

Oh, i see, the volume adjustment was suggested earlier, looks like I glazed over part of the last page and only saw the compressor suggestion. My bad
