But sadly the average American probably has no clue what the difference is.
No lie, I almost got into a fight with another soldier over whether sushi was Chinese or not.

I don't think not having a plan for the snake in Gundrak is evidence of that.
Maybe but the rest of his answer pretty much admits it. There's a lot of moving parts in a development effort that large, and you'll never 100% control over all of them, so sometimes you have to react.

We see that even on here. Doesn't matter what they change, some people will flip out.

Which is why I said "samurai-esque".
Chinese lacquered armor from the same time periods as the samurai looks a LOT like the Japanese version, though without the exaggerated pauldrons.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_armour is a good article. Depending on when they draw inspiration from in Chinese history, you could get paper armor, chainmail, lamellar (the type of leather or iron plates laced together that were used in "samurai" armor) or even the plate mail that was mainly just super-ceremonial armor.
Regardless, we'll get something with Asian influences to it as armor, I think. That and a katana (which is also possible due to China importing tons of Japanese swords like tachi, katana and the like during the Ming dynasty) and it'll be on!

When I was still living in Florence (Italy) I had an argument with some American guy who claimed that pizza is American

Somehow, the base is thicker and on top there's too much stuff, but is somehow a variant, you can't say that pizza is American. Same goes for hamburger and all the other imported food that many Americans believe originated across the pond.
But I guess we're waaaaaaaaaaaay OT and I'm not interested in an American bashing

We eat delicious pancakes, with bacon and mapple syrup on them.
Bacon is its own food group here in America.

As someone who is currently very hungry and stuck at work for another couple of hours, I hate you all.
