He said they'll still bring the buffs, just won't have to keep dropping totems to provide them.

I was unaware you are required to do everything they announced in the game. seems to me like they are offering a lot of things for people to do that don't raid or are looking for unique things to do outside of raiding.
5 levels again....
5 is just a number. Would you be happier if you leveled to 126 in this expansion?

And the buffs are cast by the shaman according to fuzzy.
We live in a society where people born on third base constantly try to steal second, yet we expect people born with two strikes against them to hit a homerun on the first pitch.

I guess the "wands become mainhands" means Dragonwrath is going to be labelled "wand" once 5.x hits.

The pet battles is like Archaeology, something that'll fill time for the people who are interested but isn't at all required. Valor points from questing shouldn't be a big deal for people raiding enough to cap (I almost never run heroics now).

From what I've seen sofar...
Pandas - love it. Something new, not tied to the old schtick.
dungeons and raids, buffs for loot, challenge dungeons, - don't really mind the changes (as long as the quests to get the buffs don't take too long..
pokemon - ehh.. don't care, but don't care about pets now
I can see where old-school raiders will hate a lot of this.
For those of you who do hate this, remember, the raids will still be there.
On the other hand, with so much reworking and the new zone, this would be the time to get my wife to play, and just enjoy leveling pandas together.
Time to start reserving your panda character names...

Seeing how people straight reactivated for the halloween pets, can you blame them for putting this pokemon shit in?
I'm sure I'll be there on day 1, but so far their attempts to 'get me out of stormwind' have evolved into me sitting on the bank steps and watching TV between runs, so I'm not optimistic.

Depending on the rewards it will be seriously hard for completionists and the OCD faction, though.

I wish I had a high latency connection so I could create a "Loping" in full irony mode.
