Ughhhh and the year starts off with a bug. My log says:

"[01:16:42] You receive item: [Loot-Filled Pumpkin]."

But I didn't receive it. Double, triple, quad checked my bags. Even had Invis look through them. It's not there. Turns out you have to manually loot it. I've submitted a ticket, but just a head's up to those doing it now.

Edit: Seems you have to actually empty the pumpkin IN the instance to get it.

On the plus side, collecting candy buckets now seems to award masks. I don't remember that from previous years - thought it was only the innkeepers.

Another problem happening to a guildie... phased zones are making you ineligible for certain candy buckets unless you've completed the zone.

Found him. He's called Spanky. Just outside Stormwind gates. Each mask is buyable with 2 tricky treats.

Save your tricky treats, they're used as currency for everything... pets, masks, etc.

I have to say, I really love it this year. I'm a bit of a Halloween freak as it is, but Blizzard has redone a lot of the event this year. New quests, new rewards, LOADS more pets. LOVE IT.

Received a GM response about this. Apparently it was a known bug that was happening when you zoned out with the bag. However, they've since rectified the problem. The GM was kind enough to mail me my bag too.
