At least you aren't a Leafs fan. (Neither am I, but ouch...)
Most people want the wealth produced by a society with limited government distributed to them more generously by bigger government.

Are the Leafs blaming it on Tiger Woods too? :D

We live in a society where people born on third base constantly try to steal second, yet we expect people born with two strikes against them to hit a homerun on the first pitch.

Jay Cutler plays with T1 diabetes. Something FAR HARDER to live with and control while playing a sport like Football. I'm honestly surprised more OL and DL players aren't diagnosed with T2.

He could, and should, sue them over this. And the league for that matter. They have built a culture where they expect these men to reach mammoth proportions, yet now that he is suffering a natural consequence of this proportion, he is being cut, and will probably never play again.

I have to say, I have a really good feeling about the Indians since Young Dolan has taken the decision making reigns from Old Dolan.

I know that the tribe has looked this good early in the season before and just come apart at the seams, but there is something different to it this year.
Maybe it's the fact that for the first time since the late 40's we have a world series winning manager at the helm.
Maybe it's the fact that for the first time in 15 years we spent money in free agency
Maybe it's the fact that several of the restoration projects (Allballsdo no strikemez) look like they are getting better
Maybe it's the fact that since he shoved his leg in his mouth Shapiro has been silent.

I don't know. But here in Ohio, there is something going on with Tribe fans. If we could get attendance up, we'd be doing better. the biggest problem with attendance is the mistrust that has been sewn by the ownership. For so long, we showed up, with blind faith the dolan's were going to be like the jacob's brothers, and they weren't. If they keep it up, the fans will return. They are doing it right. they've listened to the fans, and this summer, if they keep going like this things will change.

And, continuing to take a team behind the woodshed and pounding them every once in a while certainly helps. Man... Watching tribe games is fun stuff right now.

I think there's a bit more to the Kyle Love story. I'm guessing that the Pats cutting him for a non football caused illness allows them to escape a cap hit, and if he was pulling in more than they thought he was worth or have someone cheaper that they think is a quality replacement then I think the illness gives them an out.

Whether or not it's legal is probably not simple, as sports leagues obviously have some special handling around that sort of thing. However, if Love can still play like he and his agent are asserting, someone will pick him up. Teams aren't going to ignore a quality player just because he has diabetes.

"The Patriots "expressed concern about not knowing what Love's recovery time would be." This was the reason given for cutting him, as cited by Deadspin, ESPN, CBS Sports, and FSN.

Which is BS. Any Endocrinologist worth half a shit could have given them a timetable.

Yeah well that was the reason "given" which doesn't mean much.
I believe I read this morning that he was picked up by Jacksonville. I still think that the Patriots were making a strategic move and his illness gave them an opportunity.
