I was afraid the white would be too white against the PvP set, but the Argent tabart rubs nicely off it.

Heroic is ugly too (purple), but I have to admit the normal version looks pretty nice.

It's just a bit though to fit with armor, at least for paladins. Grayish suits the warrior palette better, methinks.

Also, I've been thinking about using the Glorious Headdress/Warleader Crown instead. Thoughts?

So uhm I decided everyone and their grandma has Tier 5 on their warlock, so decided to change it to Tier 6.

However, I can't come up with a matching cloak. Any idea?
Also a weapon suggestion would be nice, though I'm thinking of just going with Zhardoom if I get my hands on it.

Here you go, lots of options that all work with Warlock T6

There's more if those are not enough. :D

Edit: I was bored and added lots of staves (I'm assuming you're only looking for a staff). Personally, I'd go with heroic Spire of Scarlet Pain or Sho'varon (any) and then one of the pandaria cloaks.

Newsom I think you linked too many items and broke the links :P

Care to make me a link with just cloaks and one with just staff? :)

Not really? If you're after the green highlights I think you're pretty much out of luck, otherwise there's always

Or Season 6 mixed with DK T13?

Was rocking variations(shoulders/weapon kept changing) of this for the longest time (originally as a male, then female once the sale was up):

Few weeks ago found a Lofty Chest for 12g, so decided I needed a makeover:

The legs weren't my first choice, but since cloudbreaker are so hard to come-by, I decided to just finish the set. Belt also wasn't original choice, but figured it was one of the few that could work with the rest of the set.

Yeah, I'm mostly just trying to find some more gear with the red/gold/green sort of color palette. Something that looks like the silvermoon city guards, or Felheart.

Judgement seems to be closest, but it still doesn't have the green.

Drape of the Refreshing Winds seems like it would work really well. If I could get it to drop, that is.

I finally found a staff that works with the Shaman Challenge Mode set:

They should just "hire" a bunch of students to make 3D weapon/gear models for free. Tons of students would happily spend months seriously polishing their work if they'd get something they made into WoW. You'd need some QA people to look over it, but surely it'd be worth it? :(

Hey, some kid did a huge mod for Skyrim to see if he can get hired by Bethesda.

Only idiots work for free when a company comes calling.

Sure, I guess, but companies like Blizzard don't come calling, do they? So the poor students don't get to put WoW content on their portfolio, Blizzard doesn't get free content, and players make do with what they got. And we're back in reality-land where mutually beneficial opportunities like that probably won't ever happen. :|

How is it mutually beneficial for someone to work for free for a company that could afford to pay them? Exposure doesn't pay your bills.

I doubt Blizzard is going to put more people on the payroll just for aesthetic content, regardless of whether they could afford it or not. So for Blizzard, if they could do it free, maybe it'd be an actual option. Pure 3D assets wouldn't require that much QA work on their end either.

As for the students, sure exposure alone doesn't pay the bills, but surely you won't disagree with that having your work actually implemented in a world-class game would look good on a portfolio. And a good portfolio helps with your job application.

I'm not saying it's a better option than paying them for their work, just that it sounds like a solution that both parties could benefit from. Not like they'd be forced to work for free. They could do other stuff with their time. Like practice their skills making things that doesn't get exposure.

The only time it is worth working for free for exposure and resume padding is when you retain ownership rights of your created material, which if often not the case with these types of situations.

Fair point; I concur.

I'm sure they could write a contract letting Blizzard keep the rights to the content by giving attribution to the creator, but I see how it'd be a little tricky in terms of verification for a potential employer. Maybe a small note on the item's official armory page?
