The age-old debate: DBM vs. BigWigs.
I've personally tried both, and while I find BigWigs better suited for me (more customisability, better interface, more options), but I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on which, by most people, is considered better
So far, the only advantage I can see to using DBM over BigWigs it that DBM is considered the de-facto standard, meaning I'd have the same timers as my fellow raiders ... other than that, I'm lost.
Any thoughts or opinions?

Nice and inconspicuous, gets the job done.

DXE is actually not something I've tried myself. Sell it?

Yeah it's up to date for Firelands. Had trap announces and stuff on Shannox before DBM did, Rag timers were spot on first week, etc.
It's just another boss mod Mirawen. A bit slicker than DBM/BigWigs usually, fairly configurable, tries to keep visual/text spam to a minimum and just get your attention when it has to.

Another thumbs up for DXE.
I was rather sad when it seemed they would discontinue for Cataclysm, and I had switched to DBM, even after the first early Cataclysm versions of DXE.
I tried it again when 4.2 hit, and it's just as good as it used to be. I would definitly recommend it to anyone wondering - DBM is more than good enough, but DXE is *that* good.

Didn't know DXE was back. My favorite boss mod by far.

I'd swapped to KLE, someone else's attempt to keep DxE going, but it's not been as well supported. If DxE is back I'll have to check it out.

+1 for DXE
I actually never used DBM and judging by the spam I get from people (even in 5-mans... why would you need boss mods in 5-mans?) using it, I don't think that's a bad thing.

If only the over/under TP debate or Republican/Democrat party splits were as easily solved by adding in a third option XD.

Psh, third option? A proper political system offers 10 options with no single option ever getting the majority.Skye1013 wrote:or Republican/Democrat party splits were as easily solved by adding in a third option XD.

Belgium called, they want their government back... (395 days and couting!)
Well, OKAY, we DO have 10 or so "major" parties (> 5% of voters), so maybe we DID go a bit overboard with that...
