Fucking love being a dot class. Seriously, run around tab dotting tagged mobs and flashing the wounded dudes since it's faster than the stupid salve.

I renew personally, but then I don't usually have as much competition when I'm doing the dailies (most everyone else is still at work back in the states :D)

I hear they perk right up, and even tell him to look them up, something about a special thank you.

Personal favorite is going with a DPS guildie - I respec Holy, handle the wounded and the occasional heal when he gets overconfident, while he gets me the kills.

Win-win!
When that day comes, seek all the light and wonder of this world, and fight.

You can use Holy Radiance as well. I mostly do this quest as an 'innocent bystander' solution while doing the other quests.

I've started throwing WoG if I have holy power, and tried a flash of light (as prot) which worked. Seems it makes no difference at all how big the heal is for the quest.
I don't play WoW any more.

Unless it changed this Tuesday you need the tag for achievement credit.
We live in a society where people born on third base constantly try to steal second, yet we expect people born with two strikes against them to hit a homerun on the first pitch.

As long as I get my marks.. :-)

Allthough as a ranged class it's easy enough to tag a bunch too. But I think there's some other mechanism at play, I suspect it may be on the amount of damage you do to a target.

Agreed.
The Dailies in the roost Roost do not require tagging, but it seems you have to get in reasonably early - with the mob above 50% health - in order for your contribution to count.

Today I got no quest from the guy looking after Runetotem, but I got my 14 marks anyway. Do those ones share a slot with another somewhere? Or did Blizz perhaps kill those quests because of the crazy loot competition and add an extra mark to the [Rage Against the Flames] set?

The Hamuul dailies are shared with the Mylune dailies - you only get one at a time.

Run like a headless chicken...

Personal record were 3 "healed" in one holy radiance, but at a lonely hour i can believe someone can push this to 4... but not sure :D
