I've recently finished the latest book (Dance of Dragons)
And at least, my favourite character is still alive! \o/
I won't tell you who that is though, for that would be spoilers.

Seeing the recent trend... unfortunaly that could be almost everyone...
In addition to that, depending your definition of "alive" even Ned and Rob could be a possibility
Reread the 4,5 books... This series (book) went from 5stars to 1star... 4th book was awfull, but 5th is even worst... I couldn't finish it a second time... I have already some discussion with people here that LOVED the last two books but for me... They suck... :S
I didn't buy the 5th (borrowed) and i won't be buying 6th until i get good feedback. IF the 6th and 7th (and according to the haters - 8th)are good, i'll buy them and pretend that the 5th never happened

So if the Stark's mantra is "winter is coming", what do they do when winter arrives? Does it change to 'Summer is coming' or 'Winter is here'?

^-- This.
A wise and frugal government which shall restrain men from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government. – Thomas Jefferson

Not really. Hugo came in a very distant second, and Captain America 3rd.

They're still filming. April 2013 if the previous seasons are anything to go by.

Re: Game of Thrones
So...Ive just got hooked on this Game of Thrones 4 weeks ago. I got me first book then. Almost dont with the 4th book now (Can you tell why my personality goes with with WoW and its hardcore raider life? THoguh I no longer do that...I READ GAME OF THRONES! haha BAM!) and I have to say..book 3 is my fave so far. Book 4 is okay in that I has some long saut answers for me, but so slow compared to book 3. hehe I have the 1st season on DvD as well and have one more disk and that is done as well.
Please Ser, may I have sa'more...
