... to participate in the Call to Arms thread. We need people willing to perform some simple tests on training dummies to help refine our understanding of certain mechanics.

No mathematical background required, and most tests should only involve a small time investment. The first post of that thread contains all of the relevant information.

I know that at one point or another you've all used the resources on this site to figure out how to be a better tank. I'd like to think that one of the reasons Maintankadin is the site to go to for paladin tanking information is the amount of people here that spend their own time trying to improve our understanding of the underlying game mechanics.

It's time to give back to the community by giving some of your time. Go to the Call to Arms thread and try and carve 15 minutes out of your day to provide us with some data.

Come sit on uncle Theck's lap...

Why was that the first thing that came to my mind when I read this thread?

Are you catholic? That would explain the thought...

That sounds too close like implying that Theck failed. Be careful or he may crush you with a spread sheet.

I'll assist. Just have to get this evil work day over and get home. Wow doesn't play well from my iPhone.

Bump. It's the weekend, I know that some of you have some spare time. If you appreciate the time and effort the community spends crunching numbers to provide you with up-to-date analysis, please consider giving back to the community in the form of raw data. Many of the data sets we're requesting can be taken in under 15 minutes.
