At work, Cataclysm CE in hand from Amazon, where the "Track Delivery" option says it's still in the Royal Mail main hub! If you've ordered from Amazon, don't believe the tracking information!

84 to 85 is 9 million. What was it on beta?

Remember, my experiences involved the level cap being 83. And that it was some insane amount of XP to get from 82-83 (something like 11 million). We cleared Mt Hyjal AND Vashi to make that 82 to get to Stonecore and after Stonecore/Uldum, there wasn't enough XP to unlock L84 (and Twilight Highlands).

That was the cost from 82-83, if I recall correctly. After that, I just rolled premades and leveled up babies.

From all accounts, things are much nicer now. And, on a happy note, Amazon has now told me that they've shipped my stuff out last night for delivery today.

Good stuff.

Still waiting for it to arrive. I did log in last night at 5.30pm to see the realm first 85 deathknight message come up /amazed.

Seriously? 17 hours to get to 85? I hope the content is 'that' good otherwise I see a lot of bored players very quickly.
