Will the JP cap still be 4000 after Cata releases?
I am assuming that we will still be capped at 4000 JP after Cataclysm launches - i.e. that it's a permanent thing, rather like the honour cap, and not simply something to handle the transition. Is that right?
If so, is there anything worthwhile that can be bought with JP before you hit level 85? e.g. gems or whatever are the new orbs? I suspect I will run a few instances before I reach level 85 and it would be a shame to "waste" the JP by being stuck at the cap. But given the price of stuff, I suspect I won't run enough to make this an issue and it would better just to stick at 4000 rather fall far below it.

I was under the impression that the 4k cap is for level 80 only. Once you hit level 81 you can start to earn more points. I do not know what the cap is for 81+, but I would guess that you won't hit the cap unless you level exclusivly via LFD. Then again I am not even sure if we get JP for dungeons while leveling.

The cap is 4000 and will remain 4000.

Yes, my understanding is that JP will remain capped, like the old Honor Points. Valor Points will not be capped, but will have a weekly cap on earnings (a bit like the old Arena Points).
