Going for any realm firsts?

Friend of mine had all of the possible + fishing bonus stuff on and he was already camped in a spot to just 100% farm fishing and he got the realm first fishing.

by the time i got over to the flight master to get my liscense, there went Realm First Skinning

Got to my profession trainers, and just left SW, there went Mining

so im pretty much screwed lol

Our guild snagged at least two Realm Firsts, namely Mining and Fishing.

Well, there was two was to do it: legally (using the SW fishing dailies and the crates of daily meats they yielded, which is the route we took) and illegally (using glitches and bugs to get your mits on other Cata food that was not meant to be had yet; those that took that route paid dearly).

It is quite strange, tho, that Blizz should allow such stockpiling ahead of time, but they did so knowingly (the SW dailies were added in 4.0.3a, giving everyone ample time and opportunity). Our server was quite decent (Shattered Hand EU) on the login fest at midnight, so won fair and square, in my book.

Realm first 525 Alchemist! Lost the herbalism one by 5 minutes, but I'm happier with this one (although I wasn't expecting the 100+ grats whispers when I got it, lol).

Now to keep on xmuting in hopes of discovering the vial of the sands recipe and time to put all my rare gems on the AH to make back my money and then some.

I went for the realm first Herbalism, and after 1 hour 23 mins I had it. I started in Dal. Trained, then flew to Storm peaks herbing. Turned in Hodir quests and just kept herbing. I never left Storm peaks to get it on my druid Lycane on Exodar. Was super excited as the skinner popped really frickin quickly.

Is there anyplace to look up what's already been done on your realm?..

Missed realm 1st paladin by an hour due to phasing bugs that prevented me from seeing Graves in SW and Thrall in the maelstrom and Kurdran in Highbank. Phasing hates me.

Guildies got 1st hunter and priest though, so that was cool.

This for sure, as I have no idea how you'd find out at this point. The old armory page for it doesn't work anymore.

So as an update...

GM confirmed I was realm first herbalist, however due to the fact that I had transferred my dk to the server within 60 days, I was ineligible. Guy who got the achievement after me was sympathetic at least.

Still, what a kick in the dick. Guess I'll know for next time.

My guild got, Realm first Warlock, Hunter and Priest. Pretty fun to see.

Cooking, Mining, Herb, Skinner All went within 20minutes on my server ^.^
