Quickest way for a L1 horde toon to get to a Neutral AH?

I'm rolling some Horde toons on my main server, and I want to get a toon to a neutral AH so i can quickly transfer some gold over.

Now that cata is upon us, whats the quickest way to get a horde toon to a neutal AH?

Durotar > barrens > 1000 islands > tanaris?

Boat from Barrens (Ratchet) and get to Booty Bay might work? IDK if that option has been removed, especially hordeside.

As was said, if the Ratchet -> Booty Bay boat still exists, that's probably your fastest bet.

Otherwise, if Everlook still has an auction house, that's probably the closest to Org you're going to get. The run/ride wouldn't really be any more difficult than your idea of going to Tanaris anyhow.

Tanaris portal only works with friendly Keepers of Time reputation, or did they change that?

You're probably thinking of the shattrath one which required honored or some such.
I don't think the dalaran portal has a rep restriction or DKs would have complained about it long ago(Because how many DKs run old durn/etc on the way to 80?)

This is the only way to a neutral auction house that doesnt involve crossing lvl 40+areas where everything and their moms will add you or calling in mages or whatever deities you want to beg to relocate yourself.

Create an orc, jump through the Hidden Path, swim to Ratchet, take the boat. 5 minutes and you're done without having to call anyone for a portal or having to bother with a corpse run across half the world.

The tactic I always used was to just run my lvl 1 into the nearest enemy, die, log out, log back in, ghost run to my destination zone, spirit rez, ...?, profit!

This allows you to run unmolested and across water easily through the various zones. Only catch is that you have to know where your spirit rezzer is in the destination zone.

I'm pretty sure you resurrect at the Spirit Healer nearest to your corpse, regardless of what Spirit Healer you ask for said resurrection.

They fixed that
I died in the middle of Barrens, ran to Ratchet, boat to Booty, then i made sure i logged out (as ghost form) in front of the BB spirit rezzer.
And when i clicked on a rez i got sent all the way back to the Barrens.
O well.
Had to run instead. Didn't take too much longer - managed to avoid most level 10 mobs.

Got my item onto the AH, transfered 5k gold from ally to horde - but i had to get a guildie to help me as you cant purchase your own auction.
