extended raid lockout question
I have a question about extending raid lockouts. It may be kind of confusing but I hope someone can give me an answer.
Last week I cleared 11/12 heroic ICC10 with my shaman. This week I am trying to help my friend out by extending the 11/12 raid I was in last week and essentially giving him the 11/12 instance I had cleared last week. However, I want to use my shaman on a fresh run this week, so my question is can I achieve this in some way?
If I got someone to zone in with an alt to my extended ID, can I get that alt saved and not get my shaman saved, essentially "transferring" the instance lock to the alt? Or will the simple process of zoning into ICC with my shaman save me automatically if I try this to get the alt saved?

Re: extended raid lockout question
You could do -
1) Extend lock on your Shaman alt, invite someone else, don't enter ICC10.
2) Have someone else zone in.
3) Leave with Shaman alt.
4) Reverse extension on your shaman alt.
This was all pre 4.0.1 so unsure if it still works now.
Just will check on a char if you can still do a reversal (unless instances all got reset, which case I can't.

Re: extended raid lockout question
Thanks, you pretty much laid out what I was going to try and do.
1. Extend with the shaman, inviting my alt lock
2. Lock zones in (should see the confirm message of being saved to a 11/12 (?) and accepts)
3. Shaman leaves raid group and reverses the extension
Hopefully this will work.
