Shirt Idea. I was late to the party.
How do you define a paladin tank?
Currently, it is human, dwarf, draenei, and blood elf
Currently, it is male and female
Currently, they use swords, maces, and axes, as well as shields
Currently, holy paladins typically use shields too
This had me thinking. There are 8 possible combinations of what a paladin can be.
What if, for a Maintankadin T-shirt design there was something akin to the Anime Samurai Seven Design? For those who aren't familiar with the show,
http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_5ZresRp5byw/T ... 8_1280.jpg
Is a super large picture of one of the more famous images connected to the anime.
Turn the sun into a more cataclysmic backdrop, turn the 7 samurai into the 8 different types of paladin tanks in silhouette in front of it. Nothing overly detailed.
My simple solution for the models? We have armories galore linked here on the boards. start armorying people to get models, shop em to a nice silhouette, and that part is done.
You could then put the maintankadin logo on the back between the shoulderblades, and voilà! you have a shirt, that even I would order.

I like this idea.
What is the size difference between a male Dranei and a dwarf male/female and would they be arranged so the tallest in the centre and shortest outside or in a random fashion? I would also have a preference for the Maintankadin writing to be on the front, under the chars.
Without turning this thread into the other thread, following on Aergis' want of cracked ground effect, the backdrop can be a nice hazy red/yellow blackrock mountain being sundered and cracked. We are both leaving behind WotLK and the old world as we know it.
Not sure how the silhouettes would turn out.
Edit - I mean not sure how recognisable a silhouette of a paladin would be, which suits my purpose well. Also they would have to be distinctive enough from each other - all 8 in Tier 10 would look a bit meh. There are 10 tiers to choose from, I am a fan of Lawbringer on male Dwarfs.
2nd edit - Wowhead model viewer would be ideal for getting the silhouettes, especially if different tiers of gear was required.
Edit 3 - Scrap the other races just have Dwarfs - http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4068/516 ... bf7038.jpg

For the 8 models, I would have the males standing in the back, arrayed tallest on outsides, shortest on insides; corresponding females are kneeling/sitting in front (everyone remembers elementary school class photos, tallest stand in back, right?). Something like
Draenei male - Human male --*superawesome logo/paladin thingie*-- Dwarf male - Belf male
Draenei female - Human female --*superawesome logo/paladin thingie*-- Dwarf female - Belf female
A shield with paladin wings, maybe? Maybe the shield could have the cracked ground effect on it, or radiating from it?

I quite like this idea, although having all 8 race/gender combos is a bit overkill. Just the 4, with 2 male 2 female, would work great.
And, just so we're clear on it, a cow silhouette would absolutely ruin this awesome design.

As a silhouette? You would not be able to see anything.
Would make for a nice picture in colour, but not sure it would print well or people would want to wear it in colour.

Oh make two shirts, one with the males and one with the females!
(and hope you get 25 orders of both shirts so you can do it)

Hmm.
Human = T2
Dwarf = T1
Draenei = T10?
Belf = T5
I'd be pretty okay with this...

If you try to put the belf in T5 I will find you and smack you.
T8 or t6.

Unfortunately I don't think T2 makes for much of a silhouette. Given all the Aldor in Shatt wearing T5 (even though the Scryers might wear it as well) -
Human = T3/T7 or T6 or T8
Dwarf = T1
Draenei = T5 or T7 (it isn't T3 for them)
Belf = T6 or T8
One should be wearing a skirt, I favour the human rather than the Belf (wider hips, more noticable) giving -

If any race is in t5, I think it should be draenei.
Human: T2
Dorf: t1 or t3
Draenei: T4 or t5
BE: T6?
Edit: Noone likes cows.

T2's silhouette is super-badass if you just make sure that the mask is shadowed properly. You don't need much more than that.

Why the eff would you put a dwarf in T1 (or anyone for that matter).
My vote is put the dwarf in the level 60 PvP armor with the giant Grand Marshal's Battlehammer.
