Warlock pet name restored

I didn't pay too much attention on Tuesday when 4.0.1a was patched, but it would appear that Blizzard have restored the Warlock pet name that was wiped out when 4.0.1 patched. Phuutom is back.

My wife is sooo happy. It's a little thing, but Sarnos and the rest of the crew have been with her since the beginning, six years now. It just wasn't the same with some other imp.

Good to know. I'll hold off on leveling my Warlock until I can get the much cooler new Felguard name back.

Not sure when it happened but it looks like they also changed my Mage's pet back to "Water Elemental", instead of "RandomPetName".

It wasn't the patch, they've been restored since last week's maintenance.

There was a macro floating around at MMO-champ that named your Water Elemental. I wonder if this fix took care of the bug.

They haven't fixed the bug. So now my mage Nodame's water elemental is ow named Chiaki. At least was easy for me to settle a name (Shinichi Chiaki is the other main character in the manga/anime Nodame Cantabile)

Just keep getting the message I can't rename him when I try the macro. Did they fix it?

Try dismissing him and resummoning him.
