Drysc on Precision

Now, while everyone is thinking at ZA, this comment turned out on Blizz forums http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=2366727539&sid=1&pageNo=1

For those that don't want to read, Drysc is saying that, while the patch notes doesn't mention it, Precision affects both melee and spell hit. Anyone on PTR can confirm this by chance?

There are no announcements beside this comment and it is not on the PTRs. I think it is just like every damn time: Blue says shit and can't help being clueless.

Look through the tread, there's a blue response. That said, I'm inclined to chalk this one up to blue confusion rather than a change to Precision.

Yes I agree, it is 99% just the usual blue messup, still since we have so many points we don't know where to spend it was nice to know.

Sorry I guess I didn't dig through the post since I clicked it and it was just the same "leaked" notes that were getting posted over and over again last week.

Basicaly Drysc says Precision is now 3% to hit with spells. On the PTR, the tooltip still says just 3% to hit with melee. There was a change last night around 10pm. I have not looked to see if there was a update, But I have been told that arcane shot is no longer dispelling our bubble.

Precision should be both melee and spell hit, this was one of the changes that I had heard about before that didn't make it to the patch notes. I don't remember what thread I mentioned it in, but it was the one where someone had posted a list of possible fixes and I responded with winking faces next to some of them

At any rate, that's pretty interesting, makes me wonder if some of the other minor tweaks I'd heard about are going to make it in.

If Blizzard ever pretended to know how Protection Paladins tanked, they would make this talent affect both melee and spell hit.

There's a mod claiming to play a paladin now. Shame he's just a mod and can't really give us the attention a CM might (like Neth and priests).
