Proof on parry = swing time reduction on bosses?
Hey guys, I brought up the fact that melee dpsers should be meleeing gruul in the back today and my guild didnt believe me, has anyone got a link to some proof on the effect of parries on bosses?

Is your guild ACTUALLY questioning why you should be DPSing from the back...?
Nevermind, I'll stop before I go on a rant.

Another way to prove to your guildies that it works it to go AoE grinding and have one of them look at your buffs.
Specifically, how fast Reckoning falls off.

Read this;

Technically, if you are after 'proof' you're not going to get it, all you're going to get is examples that support the theory. However, the probability of the sequences in the above link happening out of pure luck is very, very small indeed.

The only proof you need is in this thread right here: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/threa ... 3555&sid=1
Notice this specifically:
It would be pretty silly of them to disable a mechanic that doesn't exist.
Notice this specifically:
- Also in a later patch, we'll be able to disable the "decreased melee swing time" effect caused by Mother Shahraz parrying a melee attack. The parry mechanic is exacerbating the already rather intense burst damage that Mother Shahraz can inflict.
