I wouldn't worry about it now anyway. No timer means you've got plenty of time.
Meh. Our last raids will be taking a tour of TBC raids, something fun and different.
We did Ulduar the day before Thanksgiving. Our Paladin healer had to stop playing while we were working on it when it was released. He came back when we were progressing through ICC so he never got to see Yogg. So we did a quick push to Yogg for him, and luckily enough I got my 5th piece of Tier 8 10 man from Yogg so I can officially be done with that place. Also how come the paladin healing belt doesn't actually match the tier color?
We live in a society where people born on third base constantly try to steal second, yet we expect people born with two strikes against them to hit a homerun on the first pitch.

Has it? That's an odd change, given that he's already outgeared enough to make the timer irrelevant for anything but Herald attempts.
Speaking of which, I noticed it's a Feat of Strength now, but I've heard rumors that you can still get it as long as you haven't dinged 81. Is that true, or is it safe to finally disenchant my Herald and Dedicated Insanity sets? If it's still attainable, I'll feel obligated to hang on to them for at least another week in case someone needs a tank for either (also, potentially a decent way to make some cash).
Herald is still available as long as you are level 80.

I wouldn't count on it, as the Tribute system was removed. No attempts counter = no Tribute to Insanity/Dedicated.
I haven't actually tried Dedicated Insanity, but that's the impression that I get.

Well, that's at least one gear set I can shard.

A little bit on purpose, I had a jar of lemonade that was growing old, so I decided to mix it with whisky to see if it would taste better. It was WIN.

Well I do as well, but it's doubtful that a server first is going to take almost an entire week.

I found a couple of Sturdy Treasure Chests in Storm Peaks while I was getting to a Titanium node at the back of a cave.
Seems rather late to be adding chests into Northrend.

Yes, are these are the new treasure chests that are unlocked by finding items in Archaeology (or something like that)? I found a "Silver Bound Chest" in Badlands yesterday and had no idea how to open it.

Re: Post Your Successes!
They fixed The Battle of Darrowshire according to hotfix notes and I was finally able to finish my achievement.
Also did some questing in Burning Steppes and got my Flamefly. Just 10 more quests to finish up in that zone for the achievement. Go Eitrigg! Definitely been having more fun questing, hopefully the 80+ zones keep it up (if I'm not ignoring all the text in my effort to get to 85 that is heh)

I saw one of those on a Murloc island off of Dustwallow, couldn't open it. But no, these you can open without Archaeology and both of them had a couple silver and a blue item.

How do you open them then? I haven't been able to. I tried using my titanium skeleton keys on them without any luck.

Open which? The chests I found in Northrend are not part of Archaeology, they need no key or skill to open. The chest I saw in Dustwallow I could not open even when it had no indicator that said I needed a skill or key.
